It takes 19 minutes to Shibuya and 40 minutes to Yokohama from Saginuma Station, which is very convenient!
The price includes breakfast and a delicious dinner!

Our family started volunteering as hosts in 1995, first accepting short-term students.
After our children grew up, we started accepting mainly long-term students.
We love interacting with people from different countries by hosting homestays!
We believe that having dinner together is an important way to communicate and understand each other better.
If you are picky about food, please refrain from making a reservation.
Please do not stay with us if you think that homestay is just a cheap accommodation.
My husband and I are very friendly, so please feel free to ask us anything you don't understand!

【About me and my husband】
First of all, I am not very good at english! When I contact you, I use a translation app. But don't worry! I am a curious person, so I don't think I will have any problem communicating with you! ^_^
Of course, if you want to learn Japanese, I am always willing to teach you ^_^
I used to have classes in European China Painting and Arita Ware.
I love to cook, not only Japanese food, but also Chinese food, Italian food, Indian curry, and many other cuisines.
Recently I also started baking bread, so you can sometimes enjoy my homemade bread! ^_^
I like to spend time with my guests at meals, and I think it is an important way to communicate with them!
And I also love to travel, go to the gym, do yoga and dance!
I am not working so if you need help I can help you!
My husband is a businessman and works during the week. He likes music and reading and is very knowledgeable about economics. You can talk with him about music and history!
We hope that you will gain a deeper understanding of Japan and the Japanese people through person-to-person exchanges
that you cannot experience on a tour trip. I look forward to meeting you ^_^.

Tae was such a wonderful host, offering plenty of insight into the local area and teaching us how to make Mochi Daifuku. I'd recommend to anyone if you're hoping to have a genuine and insightful stay.

Staying with Tae and Takashi was honestly one of the best choices I could have made for this trip. I felt welcome from the second I arrived until the moment I left. I had an early flight and needed to leave the their house at 4:50am and they both woke up early to see me off and I appreciated that so much. The dinners Tae makes are always good. I (foolishly) came with little Japanese but I rarely had an issue when it came to communicating. I got the best sleep of my life here, everything was super comfortable. When I come back to Japan, I will absolutely be staying here again. The trip wouldn't have been as enjoyable as it was had I not stayed here.

A really nice homestay. The family was very friendly and open-minded, and the dinners were always so good. I had a lot of fun and nice conversations. They gave me also many great recommendations for nearby attractions.

Home stay with Tae was so welcoming! It's a great way to not feel overwhelmed for your first time in Japan, as I got to visit a supermarket with her, and get acclimatised to new surroundings. Tae cooked every night and even matched my dietry requirements! The place was cosy, very clean, and spacious. We got to talk in Japanese a lot which was very useful and fun. If we couldn't understand eachother we could easily work it out with actions or Google translate... She's very patient so it's no problem. Thank you Tae & Takeshi
