Hi to my new friends!
I have some Japanese friends who like to communicate by using English! (Their English is beginner). They like to interact with people if you would like to meet local people its a nice place to be but if you would like to be alone and quite by yourself its also nice place to be calm.
I am fluent in French and English and I am a native Japanese speaker.
My house has 2 bedrooms, 2 meditation rooms, 1 bathroom, 1 toilette 1 kitchen and 1 living room it's not a big house but normal size. I also have a garden I enjoy gardening!
My town is small and in a country side so you can not find many activities however, if you like to be in the country side and relaxed place it is good place for you. And there are very few foreigners in this town so its very rare for people to see foreigners and to have conversation.
I can also introduce you good places to go around Mie.
Like I also have my schedule to respect I can't hung out with you, but I can make things easier for you! I work at home and some Japanese people come to learn Meditation and English so sometimes the house should be quiet but you can also use the Meditation rooms for free.
It is really Japanese environment so you can enjoy and if you have any problems I am fluent in English and I have a lot of experiences to live in abroad so I think I can help you many things.
I also have a dog at home, she is very nice and quiet, and she is used to be with a lot of people!

About the Area
Our house is located quite in the country side(a little town) there is a bus stop in front of my house however, only few times per day buses are running. You can reach the nearest train station on foot 20-25mins.
You can also reach to the super market, 100yen daiso shop, some restaurants and doctors only 10-15 mins by walk. You can reach Ise shrine by train and bus. it takes about 30mins to get the shrine by car.
Its country side however, you can go many places. In Mie perfecture has a lot of famous places Iganinjya village, Ise shrine, Matsusaka beef, Toba aquarium, Mikimoto pearl island, Nagasima spa land, Nabana no sato, Kumanoko world heritage road and Suzuka circular. every where are not very close each places however, most of places you can go and back to my house in one day.
To get Nagoya is 1hour by a limited express to get Osaka 2hours by a limited express.
Ise is 25mins by car, Matsuasaka is 20mins by car.

I had an amazing three months staying with Miki. I have so many great memories of meeting local people, seeing interesting sights and most importantly finding out about Japanese culture.
Miki’s house is in the beautiful countryside and there are so many places to visit nearby. I travelled around mainly by bike which was really easy and was the best way to take in the atmosphere of Meiwa. Although it is quite rural all of the essential amenities are nearby and I never found a problem trying to find anything I needed. Ise and Matsusaka are really close and they are really convenient for anything I couldn’t find in the local area. When I wanted to go to a big city like Osaka, Nagoya or Kyoto it was easy to get there for a day trip. It only takes a few hours by train to get to all of the big sites in Kansai from Meiwa.
Everyone in the neighborhood was really polite, friendly and welcoming. I got many chances to spend time with local people and make some great friends whom I definitely plan on coming to visit again! Every now and then were events held by the local town committee or in the surrounding area. It was interesting to see all of the local and unique festivals which are often looked over by tourists.
Miki’s vision of creating a place where all different cultures can mix and learn to understand each other is very inspiring. I hope that people can continue to learn from each other at the house and it was really nice to see the difference that the cultural exchange is making to the local community. I have learnt so much from staying with Miki and I would love to come and visit again.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
