Additional Info
There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Yayoi offers qualified language instruction in her native language Japanese. One hour of instruction costs 1,000 JPY. The classes will be given by the family member at the accommodation.

Please do not adjust the heat settings yourself, ask me and I will happily do it for you

I had a fantastic time at Yayoi's place. Her entire family was very friendly and I had no problems communicating with them in English. They even brought me around Nara to see various spots and cherry blossoms! Yayoi's home-cooked food was awesome and she also recommended very good restaurants to eat at. They made my visit to Nara a really memorable and I would lovr to visit them again

I had such a great time at Yayoi's place. The children are really fun, and their English is very good. Yayoi was a very good host, she helped me discover a side of Nara I would've never been able to see by myself. I would recommend this homestay to anyone.

I had a great time staying with this family and highly recommend them - so long as you don't mind children of course! They are all really friendly and helpful, their English is excellent, and they are willing to help you get around. I would stay here again!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
