It's our first time to be the guests to stay with a homestay family after we have been a homestay's host around 6 years ago. Thanks a lot to Hisae for her kindness to pick up us from the train station in the late night. She had prepared the delicious Japanese breakfast every morning for us. She also helped us to wear the Japanese traditional Kimono. We're really felt that we had a local living style. Our best experience in Osaka were the times spent with the Hisae family. Thank you for everything. We will miss you and hope to see you again in the future. Best wishes.
The family is very welcoming. Every morning there was a lovingly prepared Japanese breakfast on the table. It's such a great feeling waking up to a prepared meal.
They are interested in your plans and also offer help if you need any.
The area is rather quiet, but with the nearest station you have easy access to all the surrounding cities, such as Nara, Kobe and Kyoto. Universal Studios is only a few minutes away.
Since they offer more than one room you might be able to meet some other travelers. One night we all went to a karaoke bar and had lots of fun!
I am glad I stayed here for the first time when I came to Japan. Hisae is a very kind person who helps you when you have questions and gives good advise when you go sightseeing in Osaka. From the station it takes only 10 minutes to Umeda so it's quite central. I can always recommend staying here.
Stay at Mrs. Mimura lovely place was my first using Homestay and it was absolutely great!
All the rules were fair and clear and I felt even better than at home with it.
I highly valued the privacy I was blessed with, although, when I needed it, we have spent some wonderful time together.
I highly recommend staying with Mrs. Mimura.
I will definitely go straight to her place next time I will be in Osaka!
A peaceful and convenient location, just a short walk to the JR station. Hisae and her family where extremely friendly and accommodating, providing collection from the station on the first day and drop off on the last. Hisae's cooking is amazing and the general hospitality made it feel like i was truly at home. Would recommend to anyone.
The location is good and it's not very far from the train station. Within walking distance there are food shops and convenience stores which just good enough for me for me for the short time staying in Osaka.
Hisae cannot speak English but she is a kind person and willing to help guests out. Thanks to Hisae for her kindness to pick up and sent us from/to the train station by her car.
Awesome place. Very friendly family. Very close to Universal Studios.
I felt like I was back at home, even when I knew I was in another country.
Very safe area.
This place was the greatest start to our Japanese adventure. For the frist night our host was very good in giving directions and meeting us. Our room had a nice bed and temp. Every morning we had a oishi meal and she was very kind. Best of all our last night she got us dress up and took pictures. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in osaka
I had a wonderful stay at her home. She is very kind and helpful... very recommended, i would choose her home again... Thank you!
Mimura-San was an excellent host. She has an excellent knowledge of attractions within Osaka and the surrounding area. Upon my arrival, Hisae and her husband provided me with Hanshin Tigers baseball tickets and we attended the game together. It is an experience I will not easily forget.
Hisae is also an amazing cook and provided hearty breakfasts. Ask for a home-cooked Okonomiyaki or Takoyaki (Osaka famous foods) and she will prepare the ingredients for you and show you how to cook them.
The location of the Mimura's apartment is central and is easily connected to all parts of Osaka by the JR loop line. Osaka also has a lively craft beer and foodie scene, ask Mimura-san for advice if you are interested in culinary adventures. Overall I would recommend the Kita-Umeda, Shinsekai, and Namba districts for food, drink and nightlife.
If I return to Osaka I would easily stay with Mimura-san again, the apartment is very clean, spacious and full of amenities, in addition to the location.
