About the Homestay
We are a family of five but two of our children have moved out of home. So we are happy to share our house with guests! I and my husband cannot speak English, but my son is able to and is happy to help if required.

Our home is located near the Osaka JR loop line and Universal Studios Japan.
Walk about 13 to 18 minutes to the nearest station from my house. (6 to 10 minutes by bicycle)
Two bicycles can be lent out. (Please contact us)
From the nearest station to Osaka Station is 4 stops.
In the case of direct You can go in 12 minutes.
It takes 15 minutes to 20 minutes in case of transfer.
There is a bus stop near my house.
It is possible to go by bus to Osaka station.(The bus takes time.)
There is a public onsen, convenience stores, and local Japanese-style Pub (Karaoke)nearby.
If you wish, you can wear a kimono and make a tea ceremony.
Also, if you want to make Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki you can also make it together.
You can experience it if you want.
And When I go to work or when I go out, basics I can not make dinner for you.

About the Area
Our place is very close to the central station of Osaka.
Once you complete your booking we will provide you with our complete address. Don't worry; you won't have any problems finding us.
You can go to Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Namba with JR or private railway.
You can also go to Osaka station by bus.

※ Osaka Station: Approximately 15 minutes (expenses/ 160 yen)
※ Kyoto Station: About 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes (expenses/ 600 yen to 800 yen)
※ Namba: Approximately 15 minutes to 30 minutes (expenses/ 180 yen to 320 yen)
※ Koube Sannomiya: about 35 minutes (expenses/ 300 yen)
※ Nara: about 50 minutes - 1 hour 15 minutes (expenses/ 680 yen ~ 800 yen)
It is very easy to get to our place from Kansai airport or the shinkansen station.

I had kinda fun living near other travelers in the same apartment, sharing our experience about lifestyls, tourism and traveling. I could see, the mimura family enjoying, when i tried to use tha small amount of japanese language knowlegde, even if it was just a tiny amount. That goes for the most people on japan i met. Having dinner with the mimuras was the first kind of awkward, because i didn't get used to it, but u will see, they give you a warm welcome, when they serve u with takoyaki and okonomiyaki. They even help you as much as possible of their own, if you need help finding some good spots you can travel. At the day of departing i felt pretty much uneasy for leaving. I still wanted to stay there. I am sure to, that i want to visit them someday again, if it's okay for them to have me.
We had a very nice time in Osaka with Hisae and her family. She picked us up at the nearest station and brought us to the station when we had to leave. The house is very clean and she is helpful and friendly in every aspect and she can help you if you don't know what to do. The breakfast was good too. Thank you for that delicious Takoyaki/Okonomeyaki and for the opportunity to wear kimonos.
We stayed 3 nights before leaving Japan and we loved to stay with the Mimura family. They were really nice and kind ❤️
The JR station is just 15min walk away and it's easy to get from there around Osaka. Sadly the time was too short and so we'd love to come again someday!
She is super host, offer to pick me up at subway and drop me off at sub way, made me feel like I had stay in my own home. Her home was so warm in winter and every one like the Japanese bidet

Mimura is very nice and she will take good care of you! You can enjoy her place as your home.
Hisae-san is really friendly and do everything she can for help you.
Also its a great cook.

Great location to get to USJ, downtown and if you want to see the harbours. I only stayed 2 nights, but it was good :)
Mimura-San was a great host! She fetched us from the station we arrived at when we informed her the train was delayed. She made us feel really welcome and we even had dinner together with the other homestay guests. We stayed at her place because we wanted to go to summer sonic, that was nearby. Her home is really close to USJ too! She lent us her bikes and we cycled there and back, without having to squeeze into the trains with the crowds. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Mimura-San!!!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
