Thank you Chiaki !
Lovely family to stay with. Very helpful
Séjour magnifique. Chiaki et sa famille ont été très accueillants et vraiment sympathiques. Tout était parfait.
I stayed with Chiaki san and her family for 7 nights and enjoyed my homestay with them very much! They would send me to the train station on days that I needed to leave early (around 7am). Breakfast is simple and great! I opted for dinner on some nights and I have to commend that Chiaki san is a great cook.
Chiaki san invited me to their villa in shiga prefecture over the weekend and it was really memorable as I got to experience Japan’s countryside. We went to see 雲海 (sea of clouds) in the morning on the day I left and it was breathtaking.
Thank you so much for your hospitality!
It was my trip of a lifetime time in Japan. Stay in Chiaki's home in Takatsuki was perfect. She is the best host. Her family warmly welcomed me. They were so helpful and friendly to me. Chiaki has got beautiful family! She is hard working, but really friendly and outgoing person. She was really involved in our conversations and always provided me helpful advices. Her daughter Moe is an awesome chef. When she had got some free time, she offered me help with showing around interesting places. She is really smart nad that is why conversations with her was so thought-provoking. Chiaki husband was also very nice to me and really funny. He was wearing traditional homewear Jinbei in their home and I followed him buying one for myself. Sometimes they even offered giving me a ride to the main station. Their son was also really nice to me, when we met each other. Chiaki has got also two friendly dogs and one a little shy cat. This family really loves their pets. I hope that I will go to Chiaki's home next time in Japan. Thank you for everything!
My son and I stayed with Chiaki for 10 nights and we really enjoyed it. They were welcoming, happy to answer our questions, and the breakfast was very good. The air conditioning in our bedroom was a welcome relief after a long hot day of sight-seeing. I suggest you stay at the beginning of your trip to Japan. It’s helpful that they were willing to explain things and help us get a handle on how things work. Her house is a 20 minute walk from the JR train station. Sometimes we walked, sometimes we took the bus and sometimes they offered to drive us on their way to work. Takatsuki Station is very convenient to both Osaka and Kyoto. I highly recommend this HomeStay!
I stayed with Chiaki and her family for 8 nights, and everything was perfect! Chiaki's home was a 15-20 min walk from the Takatsuki/Takatsuki-shi station and an even shorter bus ride away. She has a very nice home, and provided tasty homemade breakfast foods every morning. I had two homecooked dinners that were great and definitely good sample of Japanese home cuisine. It was nice to come home every night from exploring the Kansai area to a nice chat with her and her husband about the places I had been and the types of things I had experienced so far in Japan. They also have the most adorable set of dogs, both who I still miss seeing every day. I recommend Chiaki's home if you're looking for a place conveniently located near all of the popular Kansai cities!
