I am so glad I chose Kumi‘s place for my first days in Japan. Kumi and Asa were incredibly friendly and generous. They speak English very well! You can visit many popular places easily from their place, and the appartment is very pretty and clean. I would come back anytime and I miss them already! Thank you again, Kumi and Asa!
Kumi and her husband Asa were absolutely delightful hosts! They made my stay in Tokyo special in every way- personally showing me around Ueno Park, sharing meals together, and showing a genuine interest in developing relationship! They did everything in their power to make me feel at home. I am so thankful for these past 4 days with them, and I would highly recommend staying with them if you are in the Tokyo area!
So very lovely and absolutely wonderfull are not strong enough in meaning to describe my stay at your house :) You were so patient with me when I was late or got lost ;9 and I absolutely loved staying with you and your supercute Cat. For sure this is a place I want to come back to when I visit japan next time! You were so kind and I loved getting known to you and am once again at awe of the beautiful homes that can be seen when booking a home stay as well as the wonderful people I get to known. Thank you so much for taking me in and I hope to be able to write to you soon again ;).
All I can say is: A perfect place to stay in Tokyo!
We had tasty temakisushi, Kumi lent me her bike, treated me to dinner, recommended places for sightseeing, her husband helped me pack a parcel and shared his homemade nukazuke. And don't forget their cute cat, Hana...
I had a very wonderful time staying at Asa and Kumi's house. They are very friendly and easy going couple. Kumi also helped me a lot how to local tourist sites. I enjoyed shopping at local supermarket, cooking and having dinner together with Asa and Kumi. I love the experience of local family daily life.
Hana is a shy cat, but she loves to play when she knows you better. Hana also accompanied me while I was packing my suitcase in the night time. Hana is a great host, too. :)
My stay in Kumi and Asa's house was such a nice experience. They did everything to make me feel at home and we had nice talk and a lot of fun together. I'm so glad to have chosen such a wonderful homestay to my first days in Japan.
Asa, Kumi & Hana (cat) were a delight to stay with. I was very much welcomed into their lovely home and they both could not do enough. I'm very grateful to have selected such a wonderful homestay
