I really enjoyed my stay with Tomoko. She cooked delicious meals and it was wonderful to enjoy those while she shared information about Japanese culture and helped me pick some places to visit during my trip.
The cats were all so friendly and very loved in their home with Tomoko.
The home is very close to public transport and Tomoko gave very helpful directions.
The best accommodation during our Japan Trip ! Tomoko is a very caring host, she gave us a lot of tips and shared a lot about japanese culture with us.
We had awesome foods and discovered each time new meals, Tomoko is definitely a very good cook.
I can also add Tomoko has a perfect fluent english. We loved being there and I would recommand it without any hesitations.
About location, Tashikawa is easy to came from Nambu or Chuo line.
Tomoko is the perfect host!! She is so kind and her home is very welcoming. Tomoko cooks amazing dinners/breakfasts, and is SO helpful with any questions you might have about your trip. If it’s your first time in Japan (like me) then I couldn’t suggest Tomoko more! Now I have a host and a friend!!! ありがとうございます(´∀｀*) (Also, make sure you like cats before you book!)
Tomoko was an incredible host! She was very clear with her expectations of her guests (such as meal times and wearing slippers in different areas of the house), but also made me feel right at home so it truly felt like my space was my own.
I loved sharing meals with Tomoko, as she imparted so much of her knowledge of Japan, Japanese history and her own personal experiences. I learned so much from her. She also cooks some very tasty food!
A bonus for me was meeting her cats, and they were all very friendly with their own unique personalities.
Tomoko also gave me lots of recommendations for things I could do around Tachikawa, in the city and day trips. She also went to great lengths to help me work out the best transport routes when I was stuck, and gave me very clear instructions to the airport when I had to catch a very early flight.
I would highly recommend a stay with Tomoko! Her apartment isn’t in the centre of Tokyo, but it is easy enough to get to. I liked the fact that it was away from the city as I got to experience a slower paced life in Tokyo. It was a 10/10 stay.
It was a great stay, Tomoko was a great host, I had a great time.
The stay with Tomoko was great. The house is within walking distance of the train station and Tachikawa is a beautiful town. Tomoko is an excellent hostess. She took very good care of us. The food is excellent, she took time for us and we talked a lot. Her 3 cats are also very sweet. We can highly recommend the homestay. If we travel to Japan again, we would stay with her again. Tomoko san was very friendly and helpful. She is also an excellent cook. The cats were incredibly cute too! I would highly recommend staying here.
I had a lovely stay with Tomoko! She was an amazing host who had thought of everything a guest would need, and was very understanding and flexible on my stay when plans changed. We had a great time chatting and she made delicious breakfasts and dinners to eat, and she was even kind enough to dress me in an authentic Kimono, which was such an amazing experience!
I’d definitely stay again and recommend her homestay to anyone :)
This guest awarded the host 3 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
