EN : My stay at Tomoko-san's house was absolutely perfect. She is a smiling, caring and devoted host. Her cooking is absolutely fantastic, and she's always ready to recommend you a nearby shop or place to visit. She also is a very pleasant company when dinner comes.
Nothing to argue against, my stay was perfect.FR : Mon séjour chez Tomoko-san était absolument parfait.
September 2024
It was a marvelous stay for 3 weeks for me. Tomoko was generous, a great cook demonstrating Japanese cuisine but respectful of our preferences, helped me speaking Japanese, and especially helpful in guidance and ideas of places to see. Such kindness! and speaks English well, but she is always studying to learn more. The other guests were a delight and together (including Tomoko) hAd fun lively conversations at our breakfasts and dinners. When we wanted to go overnight to places, she was very flexible with our schedules. Nice to have inexpensive laundry and new public bath across street, train station nearby. Altogether a fabulous stay.

Tomoko was very welcoming, and I enjoyed our breakfast & dinner conversations with her and the other guests :)
The nearby nature park makes this location a great opportunity to be accessible to Tokyo while also having a resting place to escape from the busy city for a bit

I had a fantastic stay at Tomoko’s homestay! Tomoko is an incredibly friendly and accommodating host who goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. She frequently shares fascinating insights about Japan and Japanese culture, making the experience even more enriching. If you’re learning Japanese, you’ll love her eagerness to help you practice and improve your language skills. And to top it all off, she is an outstanding cook! Every meal was a delight. I’m already looking forward to my next stay.

Tomoko was great.
The cooking was really nice at breakfast and dinner and she was lovely to talk to. Her cats are really cute and funny to watch aswell.
Tachikawa is a little bit out of the main city but it’s easy to get back in each day with the trains.
I definitely recommend staying with her if you travel to Tokyo.

Staying with Tomoko was such a valuable experience. The rooms were very practical and comfy and the food she cooked for us was always so delicious. But what I found most lovely were the conversations and tips we got from Tomoko and of course her adorable cats. We just loved everything about our stay, it was literally perfect and we recommend it to everyone.

Tomoko is a great host, very accommodating. Organized and tidy as how I like things to be. I enjoy the morning chats and breakfasts prepared by Tomoko. I was usually out so I didn't get to enjoy dinner with her as well and other guests. She was very helpful with directions and providing me with further insights of things to do, to eat, and try out in her area and in Tokyo. I cannot recommend her enough!
