Beach House (own entrance, 150 metres walk) on the famous Mombasa Beach, home to kite-surfing, fishing, diving, white sand shores. Living with the host (Lesley), there are 2 private rooms (one double, 1 family). Breakfast, fast-speed internet & WiFi, towels, linens, fresh drinking water, tea and coffee (or herbals) are INCLUDED in the price. Laundry has a service charge. 10 minute walk to City Mall, Naivas Shopping Complex, local nightlife and cafes and few minutes walk to street kiosks for quick nik-naks. Matatu, tuktuks and motorbikes can be found right outside our main gate continuously throughout the day.
We have various chill out areas and verandas, kitchen fully equipped, large beautiful "rainforest" garden, sea view, car parking space, 24hrs security and located opposite Presidential land, so very safe.
We love cooking (teaching & sharing with guests), music (a massive eclectic range of genres & days of different moods), movies (for you to decide how much we love them!) with/on smart TV, fast WiFi and lots of books for you to browse!
We have a 4 year old dog, Vegas, who is ridiculously soft, having lived with so many people since he was born, so even those who not so sure have always at least appreciated him if not fallen in love :)
We are offering a budget, well-kept home... Many of our guests come to get peace, away from noisy, congested hostels/hotels/areas, to recharge after long months of travelling or work, and to stay somewhere affordable, clean and very secure in-house and out... Every part of our home is for you and provides the social, emotional and cultural support you'd need rather than being in the midst of tourism and trades. We provide a home away from home...

About the Area
Our house is located in the suburb of Nyali, towards the end of Links Road, as you would be in the 10 - 15 min walking proximity of City Mall & Naivas Shopping Complex, Nyali - a trendy new HUB and addition to Mombasa. It is build upon a cliff overlooking the Mombasa Beach strip of kite-surfing, diving, and fishing. It is 15-20 minute matatu journey to Mombasa (Old) Town for 50ksh. 25-45mins depending on traffic to Moi International Airport.
We are situated between Reef Hotel & Mombasa Beach Hotel - 4-5* resorts.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
