Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the nearby Nairobi River (within 100 meters of your bedroom window). Your laundry shall be done once a week by a friendly cleaning lady. Need connectivity, I have you covered, #WiFi. Cable TV? Check!
You can walk to the Bus Stop which is 20 minutes away, or grab a taxi right outside the gate of the apartment block. Uber cabs are plentiful in the area, cheaper and more reliable than traditional taxis. If you have a car, there is loads of free parking available.
The Corner Affair Bistro is a stone throw away, and there are loads of restaurants that can deliver.
Toiletries and linens are provided, as are basic cooking condiments.
I look forward to hosting you, and I am ready to answer any queries you may have.
You will have access to the 24 hour internet connection, cable television (located in the living room), shared bathroom with all toiletries available, kitchen including the gas cooker and oven, fridge, microwave oven, pantry, utensils , shared living room, balcony.
I shall be around on most days before and after work. You are welcome to join me for dinner and/or drinks both within the house, and at outside venues. I can also make recommendations, and accompany you to entertainment venues within in Nairobi if so desired.
There are taxi's parked right outside the gate, and a public bus stop is within walking distance. Car hire services are also available and I can arrange this if necessary. Uber is operating very efficiently in Nairobi these days, and tends to be much cheaper than traditional taxis.

About the Area
Any and all required amenities are located very nearby (banks, shopping malls, restaurants, pubs), yet the area retains a rustic feel due to the river, trees and shrubbery around. It is not uncommon to see a few monkeys swinging around the trees.
Most of the restaurants in the area do home deliveries, so if you are not in a mood to cook, then you can till get a hot meal at any time you want.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
All guests should be over 18. Overnight guests are allowed, just not too often - this is subject to discussion, and an additional charge may be levied for frequent overnight visitors. When in the courtyard and parking, please observe silence and be respectful of neighbors. Between 10:00 pm and 9:00 am keep noise to a minimum on weekdays. Pets are acceptable, but any feeding and cleaning up after them will have to be taken care of by you. Smoking is not permitted in the home, but allowed outside in the balcony -- I shall provide ashtrays. Use of the kitchen is not only allowed, but encouraged, but you must clean up that area when you're done. When leaving the house, lock up exterior doors and close windows.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
