Juniper House has 4 bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms and two with the bathrooms right outside. We have a kitchen that's equipped with everything one might need to make a meal. We also have a beautiful garden, a gazebo and a balcony. I live in the house alone so most of the time it's just me and the cleaner onsite. The house can host up to 10 people because we have a room with 4 single beds. We also have a washing machine, a common dinning area and Juniper Kitchen is right next door which makes it easy to order some food if one does not want to go outside.
There is much that a family can do while staying at Juniper House.
1. You can visit the Giraffe center which is not far
2. Elephant Orphanage
3. Karura Forest- It's a forest within Nairobi and there so many activities like Cycling, long walks, water falls, there are animals....
4. Maasai market- You can visit the market and get nice kenyan gifts
5. Cinemas
6. Run/Jog- We have a nice route for people who like to run or jog
7. Visit the city- it's just near by
8. Nairobi National park
9. Visit the museum...e.t.c
And if you would like to try Kenyan home made dishes I'll be around to make it happen :)

About the Area
The house is located in Westlands, Nairobi, one of the safest and well organized places in Nairobi. The environment here is cool because there are trees around and also on the compound. We also have 24/7 guards at the gate. The house is also at the center of everything anyone would need like Supermarkets, malls, taxi ranks, bus stop, highway, restaurants, Hospitals e.t.c Most of these are at a 2-20 minutes walk.
Driving from the airport might take less than 30 mins- 1 hour and sometimes even more depending on the traffic. From the CBD, one might take 10-30 minutes drive also depending on the traffic which mostly varies with time.
Almost everyone in Westlands speaks Swahili and English and people are so helpful and kind.

Meals

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
