My name is Mercy,am a business developer at the moment working as a business developer in an online travel company in Nairobi, having widely traveled i understand the importance of being a good host and what it means for a guest to have a comfortable and homely place in a foreign place.
I stay in a very secure estate in Syokimau close to JKIA international airport in Nairobi, it is 10 minutes at most from the airport,we have a very spacious 5 bed roomed house that have different type of facilities ;a kitchen in case you want to cook, a bathroom, toilet and sitting area, free WiFi in the house, a home theater for soft music,sufficient water in the house daily,hot water in the bathroom, free access to clean and safe drinking water,free parking that is secure,we have a balcony too you can rest there too. The house can host maximum of 8 adults , but if the people do not mind sharing we have an extra bed,hence can take more .The house is very clean and we shall offer to clean it daily, laundry at some small fee.
The price includes alight breakfast daily , the rest of the meals can be prepared on request at a small reasonable fee/arrangement . The house can either be used by individuals or more than one person
I share the house with my mum and does social work in the community, we have a school going child that is very friendly and comes back in the evening, she is 3 yrs and half and a chef.
We would be very happy to host guests that are visiting Nairobi for different reasons and help them in whatever way we can during their stay.Feel free to ask anything .

About the Area
Our house is located on Muthama Access Road off Mombasa road, 5 minutes away from gateway mall where you can do shopping or enjoy the at out places,it is 10 minutes from Jomo Kenyatta Nairobi international airport, also 10 minutes from the Syokimau railway station.
There is an Agha Khan hospital nearby and Soham petrol station. The serene environment is very quite and safe.

House Rules
-It is a non smoking premises as we do not enjoy any kind of smoke....
-It is good to take care of the household items while staying there, otherwise any breakage will be charged.
-Do not invite strangers o our house without our consent.
-When lights are not in use they should be put off.
-After midnight keep noise minimal.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
