I live in a maisonette in a safe and accessible part of Nairobi, with a friend.
Our home is spacious and quiet as we both are working professionals; successfully running our own businesses. We are not intrusive though we enjoy the occasional night out.
We have a living room, and a lounge area. The kitchen is well equipped. You are guaranteed delicious meals as I love cooking.
There is a small garden in the back with a breakfast table and perfect for holding BBQs over the weekend. The rooms are spacious and homely. There is WiFi internet in the house.
We have a house help who cleans and does laundry. We also have a washing machine for those who would like to do their own laundry.
We are located near social amenities; Yaya Shopping mall, The Junction and Lavington Green. It is also short ride to the Central Business District; either by public transit or private car.

We speak fluent english, swahili and have a working knowledge of French.

About the Area
Our house is located on the western side of Nairobi in a cosmopolitan area. We are 17 kms from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and only 15 minutes from the city centre.
The bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the house. You have the option of a bus or a matatu to go to the city centre.
You will be spoilt for choice with the modern up-market Yaya Centre Shopping Mall, the elegant Junction Shopping Mall, the older Adams Arcade, and the bustling Prestige Plaza. All major Supermarket chains have branches in the area, with Nakumatt at Prestige, Junction and Yaya, and Uchumi on Ngong Road.
We are located near several swimming pools and recreational spots. There are several hospitals nearby, just in case an emergency arises.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
