One room for one or two persons, with a king size bed and its own private bathroom, in a spacious apartment in a very quiet street in the very centre of Sliema, with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, WiFi, hair dryer , Optional AC . This means you have to pay for it, if you want to use it. There is a meter to show you how much you are spending. This is a home away from home. It's on self-catering basis. Everything is a few minutes away on foot: bus stops to everywhere, shops, shopping malls, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, ATMs, Super rocky beaches, beach clubs and two beautiful seafront promenades. You will be sharing the apartment with myself only. Everything is provided: sheets, quilts, duvets and towels.
We have a professional cleaner who come twice a week, or more to clean the whole apartment and your room.
There are tea/coffee making facilities in your room.
St. Julian's is with walking distance. I am a fun loving female, and also a fully qualified teacher of English, and can help you improve your English ,if you wish, when we are at home together.

About the Area
Our home is located in a a quiet street in the heart of Sliema, Malta's foremost residential and touristic town.. Everything is just a few moments away on foot. Beautiful rocky beaches, two lovely sea front promenades, cafés, shopping malls, two supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and bus stops to everywhere un the island. I am a fully qualified teacher of English and will help you improve your English,free of charge, when we are home together.

Friends are allowed to come over, but not to sleep over, cook meals for themselves or use the washing machine.
Please don't waste water, it's very precious in Malta. We have a helper, Maria, who comes in to clean, once or twice a week
Keep the kitchen and the apartment clean please . Please don’t use the kitchen in the early hours, or during the night, when others are sleeping. Thank you!

Lu is a wonderful woman. She knows a lot about Malta and will advise you on the island's most charming places and its culinary, cultural and historical highlights. She is attentive and made sure that I wanted for nothing, just like a mother. She takes the time to talk and share about what happened during my day. I highly recommend Lu and her house for anyone who wants to discover Malta and find a warm place to rest.

I had a wonderful stay with Lu. The accommodation is very well located close to saint julian and la Valette and in a quiet area. Numerous buses (and even the ferry to la Valette) are just 3 minutes from the flat. And I really appreciated having a private bathroom with every thing I needed . And above all, Lu's welcome was fantastic. I really felt at home.

Lu is an extremely generous and genuine woman. I stayed in Lu’s home for over a month and felt happy, safe and extremely well looked after. Lu’s home was comfortable and clean and nothing was to hard. I would definitely recommend Lu to anyone wanting to visit Malta. The apartment location is excellent.

Our Owner Lu, from Malta, was brilliant! A lovely, beautiful, and kind person, very communicative, polite, and carry. The fridge was full of various quality food, drinks, vegetables, and fruits. We had so nice morning and evening coffees with Lu, talked life stories, joked, and laugh every day for 12 days. We felt free like in our own house. Lu gave the best recommendation on where to go, what to see, which beach to visit, where to eat, and what are the attractions. Best recommendation! Love for LU! Vera and Mila!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
