We are 2 in my family me: Joan and my son. I have been hosting since 2019. I like meet people from different cultures and its a nice experience. My hobbies are music, travel, walking, horse riding and crafts. We have 4 bedroom apartment consist 2 single bedroom, and 2 bedrooms which can be 3 single beds or a double bedroom all with their own private bathroom. We provide towels in each private bathroom. Here its very central location bus 5 min away and its very close to the capital city: Valletta. Close to home there daily needs. Close to the university of Malta good for internships or holidays. Feel free to ask any questions. We do also airport service extra charge.

About the Area
It is very easy to catch buses because you have a 5 mins walk and it is also a quiet area. It is also a 15 mins walk from the public hospital of Malta. There are also a number of amenities nearby, mostly a street away. There is also a beach nearby 15 mins away by bus. Here it is very central and a short distance from the capital city of Valletta and the tourist cities of Sliema and St. Julians

Nice place, very quiet. Joan is nice ans take Care. She proposes to pick up me at the airport for a nice fair.

Great place, located conveniently, the bus stop is barely 5 minutes by walk, the connectivity is equally good. Joan is kind and ready to help. The meals were good and the room was very clean. Perfect for short stays and holidays. Would definitely recommend !

It was a good stay at Joan's place. Joan is very sweet. The house is very well placed because it's not far from the bus stop. Only 5 minutes to walk. The meals were good and the room very clean.

Spending time in Joan's home was fantastic experience for us. She's taken us to some places what was really helpful. She was not just a host! She was rather like a mum who was caring about us all the time. We have met new people there and still could feel really safe. Staying in that house was a great idea! It was not boring like spending time in a hotel with lots of tourists. It helped us to settle in really fast. If we go to Malta some day we'll stay with Joan again! ❤❤❤

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
