The location is a 5 Minute walk to Blue metro line. The area is quite, safe and close to restaurants and laundry. The lady of the house provided me info with metro map and what there is to see in Mexico city. The room with private bath was very good. A wonderful family.

I loved my stay. The room and attached bathroom are modern and well-furnished, with high ceilings. The way the home is laid out, it's like having a private entrance. The courtyard is a lovely space with various plants and fruit trees. Perfect for morning coffee.
The home is in Coyoacan, a wonderful area in Mexico City with beautiful parks, homes, shopping, and museums within walking distance. There is a museum with gardens just one block from the house.
I spent most of my days exploring Coyoacan. Lots of good restaurants and things to see. I loved the area and all it had to offer.
I wanted to go to the historic district by subway. My host Daniel made it so easy. Daniel provided me with a subway map and explained how to get there. It was a 20-minute ride without having to change trains. Daniel walked me to the subway station, stood by while I bought my subway ticket, and passed through the turnstile.
I highly recommend a homestay with Daniel.

Daniel and his wife were friendly, accommodating, and helpful as I navigated my way through Mexico City. They provided me with great information and were so sweet to me while I was there! They were easy to stay in contact with and willing to meet any requests I had as a guest! I HIGHLY recommend their home stay!

We ABSOLUTELY enjoyed our stay at Daniel's! First of all, do not let the google map fool you- the homestay is literally just 15-20 mins uber drive to the Historic Center and costs less than 10 USD! Basing ourselves at Coyoacan was one of the best decisions we made- not only does the place provide you with a much required calm at Mexico City, but the local community is also very welcoming and eager to teach you more about the Mexican culture. Like the couple at Simona Cafe (which is just a min walk from Daniel's house) who serve not just amazing breakfast and drinks, but also good vibes only. The house itself is very clean, quite and the hosts made sure that we got our own space in the house. The room had an attached bathroom (and a pretty big one capable of accommodating two people!) as well. The hosts are also very approachable and Daniel even went above and beyond to arrange a Salsa and Bachata class for us (you must give this a shot!). The LOCATION of this house also separates it from other homestays in Coyoacan- as it is nice walk away from the Coyoacan center, the parks, the Frida Kahlo Museum, the Coyoacan Market, and amazing restaurants- and at the end of the day, tranquil and SAFE enough for you to relax. The hosts are also very well-versed of the culture and cultural attractions and recommended us great places to travel to, just like the Teotihuacan!

All in all, we cannot recommend this homestay, host and town ENOUGH- it is everything we expected and more (again, did we mention the attached bathrooms. GOAT)

Thank you Daniel and family! Muchas gracias!
