Nonsmoking household, piano available for those who know how to play, top floor of 5-storey building, no elevator. Not suitable for overweight/obese guests because of the stairs. Persons with diabetes mellitus, type 1 or type 2, are especially welcome! No pets are permitted. Quiet, centrally located.
Host is young-minded, in 60's, musician, painter, and diabetes educator. I travel often so advance contact is needed to assure reservation for a time period when I am home. Speak several foreign languages (English, French, Spanish, Dutch, some Deutsch, some Arabic).
Additional Info
The room rate includes the following services: limited internet access (dial-up, NOT WIFI). Towel, sheets, blankets, soap; free local telephone calls to landlines (calls to cell phones charged at going rate).
Minimum stay: 3 days; maximum stay: 7 days (or to be negotiated after first 3 days.
Additional available services at an extra charge (payable directly to your host on arrival): Safe, private car pick-up service from/to airport or bus station: 40.00 USD one-way, each way, if arranged prior to arrival.
Cost of sleeping space is $60 USD/night, payable on arrival in cash.
Credit cards and checks are not accepted as payment.

Very secure building...kept that way by use of locks.
No central heat or cooling as not needed; climate is ideal year-round.
You may use the kitchen, but you are always responsible for cleaning up you have eaten.
Clothing optional friendly. 100% drug UNfriendly (no drug/tobacco use permitted inside or outside apartment, at any time whatsoever).
NO SMOKING allowed, inside or outside the apartment, at any time whatsoever.
NO PETS allowed, inside or outside the apartment, at any time whatsoever.
Please keep noise to a minimum after 10 p.m.
Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over please check with me to clarify this IN ADVANCE.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
