Our family enjoy gathering and talks, make road trips in the state and around Mexico, also we like the movies, our family is coffee and tea lover, we speak spanish, english and basic french.

The two room are upstairs, it has a shared living room with TV, cable and Netflix, you will find in the living room a small coffee station and water to drink, each room has its private bathroom.
Upstairs we have a terrace where you can delight the nice weather in the evening.

Both rooms have double bed, loveseat, table and a comfty chair and a lamp.

We like to talk with our guests, but we respect their privacy, you will find us commonly in the kitchen and in case that you need a suggestion for a restaurant or other places to visit and we weren't in the house, se can do it through Whatsapp, Messenger or another app.

We are host in different webs and sometimes by a very busy schedule and other for the different diets of our guests is very complicated for us to offer a breakfast, but we always offer coffee and whatever the family is eating for breakfast you will be welcome to join the family.

When have had an amazing experiences guests from HOMESTAY but at the same time we have had bad experiences with cancelations one or two days before the arrival, and when you book with us you have the room guaranteed, because we block it from the different webs that we use for hosting, thats why we ask for half of the amount of the reservation in advance.

Our house has a great location and very comfortable in all ways hot water 24/7 very comfortable beds, and another amenities like coffee maker, water for drink and cleaning once a week, due to this we have a high demand in all seasons.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, we'll be glad to answer you.

Armando and Esther could not have been more welcoming hosts.
They had an unexpected emergency with the room we originally booked, so we stayed in another which was very clean, very cool even in the middle of the day, it had an ensuite bathroom.
We loved staying with Armando and his family, spending downtime drinking too much mezcal around the dining room table and playing Mario Kart.
Armando provided us with a wealth of information, of what to do in Oaxaca, what and where to eat. He gave us so much that we had to extend our stay. He answered all of the questions we had (and we had a lot!). Armando was also very helpful when we were planning our travel to and from Oaxaca.
We did a full day personalised tour with Armando which was fantastic. We had an idea of what we wanted to do and Armando put it all together, we went to Árbol del Tule, hierve el agua, Mitla, and also a tour of a mezcal distillery. We had an amazing experience and it was all on our own time.

Armando and Esther are simply the best. I’ve stayed at their home for 10 weeks, and it felt like being with family. They’ll do anything to help you and make your stay easier. They’ll give you great advices on restaurants, bars and places to visit. I would 100% recommend going on a tour with them, they know Oaxaca so well. The house is super clean, always welcoming and near everything in the center of the city.
I will definitely come back to visit.

Gracias por todo Armando, Esther y Oli! Hasta pronto!!

Armando and Esther are the best. They went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and to give tips and information about how to find special places in Oaxaca. Armando is very good at giving tours to the villages and to markets; anything in the area. He speaks very good English and is quite knowledgable. Highly recommend. I want to go back today!

Fantastic experience! Armando and his family are so incredible. He speaks perfect English and has tons of great recommendations for places to visit, where to eat, where to drink mezcal and craft beer, etc. The location is perfect. Super safe neighborhood and close to everything. I would highly reccommend this place!

This is the perfect complete Oaxacan experience. We were welcomed into the heart of Armando and Esther's extended family, staying in the comfortable, quiet and peaceful home of his parents, close to the heart of the old city. Armando and Esther shared their knowledge of local cultures generously, and their bespoke guided tour of the region is a must. Thoroughly recomended, we hope to return to see more of this fascinating area.

Armando and his family are the perfekt hosts. Armando speaks fluent English which is really helpful when you don’t speak spanish. He gave me so much information about Oaxaca and the surroundings it was really hard to do everything. But every information was worth the try.
One of the best experiences was having dinner with his family in an small Mexican restaurant. So delicious and he describes everything.
The room was very clean and in an safe area. You can walk 24/7 hours without feeling unsecure. You stay in downtown. Only minutes away from the zocalo and nightlife, but it is silent.
I totally recommend to stay with him.

This is my first homestay experience and it was amazing! The accommodations are so comfortable and the location is perfect. The house is very close to the Santo Domingo Church and the Zocalo Park as well as being near a ton of restaurants and shops. This is a very safe part of town as well. I stayed in the blue room and it is very nice and spacious. I felt at home staying there! Another thing I really liked is how Armando goes the extra mile by sending information on the city and events going on. I was there during the Guelaguetza Festival and Armando would send me information on events going on around town like the parades, concerts, and festivals as well as restaurant recommendations and typical Oaxacan dishes I should try. Armando and Ester are extremely sweet, hospitable people. They do everything they can to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Such amazing hosts!

Where do I begin??? Armando, Esther and thier entire family went out of their way to make me feel at home and to ensure I enjoyed every bit of wonderfulness that Oaxaca offers. Their home is comfortable, clean and within an extremely quick and convenient walk to town.

Armando speaks fluent English and is just a warm, funny and welcoming person. I immediately right at home in their beautiful property. If you'd like to take in some of the local sites outside of Oaxaca City, I'd recommend taking Armando up on his offer to take you on a fabulous tour of the petrified waterfall, mezcal distillery, Sunday market and the textile museum. Makes for a wonderful day!!

I traveled on my own to Oaxaca so safety was at the forefront of my mind prior to my visit. But not once during my trip did I feel threatened in any way. The people of Oaxaca are exceptionally friendly and helpful and extremely easy to get to know. Oaxaca far exceeded my every expectation and I can't wait to go back and stay with my new Oaxacan family. MUCHAS GRACIAS ARMANDO!!!
