Our place, a kind of Urban Sanctuary (away from street noise despite its privileged central location) with 3 double rooms, 2 triple rooms and a family room for 5 (just 6 bedrooms and 3 complete big and clean bathrooms =)) at La Americana, Chapultepec Av. Zone.
Classic old house offering tranquility, privacy and peace for 14 guests. Built in an apple heart, without street noise , private rooms around a large central patio. Terraces and patios. Views: expiatory, city, sky, vines, trees and plants, sounds of birds. Between Av. Chapultepec and Historical Downtown. Places of interest walking: Culture & art, parks, subway stop 4 blocks, bicycle rental, privileged location. Welcome families / big groups and pets with extra cost (previous consent, just small and mediums from 7 to 10 kilos).
Access to two different Wi-Fi networks, living room, patio, terraces, dining room, kitchen, living rooms, bike rental. Activities: interesting places, buy crafts and regional products, delicious culinary tour, etc.
You can find variety of restaurants, bars, bazaars, spanish schools, traditional markets and shops walking, around 5-7 minutes. American Consulte is 10 minutes walking!

About the Area
Our urban sanctuary is located in Chapultepec Av. and Expiatorio neogothic temple Zone, Neighbor of historic downtown (at 4 blocks), walking access to several areas of cultural and gastronomic interest. Very quiet, bright and several living spaces (terraces, living rooms and patio). Neighborhood of tradition and charm. Mexican chic decoration.
The area of the monumental neogothic temple called “Expiatorio”, is located two blocks from the hotel and often offers cultural events, outdoors ballroom dancing, handicrafts made by our valuable Huichol ethnic group. At 10 minutes from the hotel is located the downtown (heart of the city), the cathedral, the cross of plazas, San Juan de Dios market, Cabañas Hospice, the Rotunda of Illustrious Men, museum of history, the Degollado Theater, among many other attractions. At Christmastime they make special events and decorate the streets with nice illuminated Christmas figures.
From our house, you can walk to visit temples, museums, plazas, antique bazaars, markets, restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, language schools, gastronomy, etc. Will Experience multiple artistic, recreational, culinary and tourist events.
In the historic downtown (15 minutes walking), will find traditional restaurants called “fondas” with excellent typical Mexican food like the famous "tortas ahogadas", "tostadas", "pozole", "sopes", "churros with hot cocoa chocolate", etc. The Centre invites you to explore and enjoy day and night.
Transportation:
Walking or can rent bikes, UBER, subway or buses. There are special tourist transportation (bus or train) dedicated to plan touristic trips to nearby cute places.

REGLAS/MANUAL DE CONVIVENCIA SANA. QUE ACEPTA Y SEGUIRÁ EL/LA HUESPED MARIA FERNANDA FERNANDEZ DE LARA VELARDE asume seguir y respetar todos y cada uno de los puntos que compone el reglamento del manual de convivencia sana.
REGLAMENTO:
-Ser respetuosos y responsables con el uso de los muebles, áreas comunes y accesorios proporcionados y con los huéspedes en general. Los daños se cobrarán de su depósito en garantía.
-El dinero del depósito en garantía deberá pagarse, como requisito, para que quede reservada su habitación. Dicho depósito se devolverá al finalizar el periodo de su contrato, entregando la habitación, las llave sy lo que hay en ella en el mismo estado en que se recibió (según contrato) y será el día de su salida, al recibir la habitación y el juego de llaves.
-No se acepta la entrada a visitas o personas que no sean huéspedes (de quedarse, se cobrará, como huesped extra, $15 usd diarios).
-Favor de respetar y no llevarse las toallas. Hemos dejado de ofrecerlas a nuevos huépedes por falta de inventario…no hagamos lo que no nos gustaría recibir.
-No está permitido hacer fiestas o eventos.
-Hacer buen uso del refrigerador, utilizándolo solo para su fin, respetando los lugares asignados a su habitación únicamente, y antes de irse, desechar o llevarse las sobras de alimentos del refrigerador y la alacena.
-Después de 7 días de refrigerado cualquier alimento, si observamos que sigue en el refrigerador lo desecharemos por higiene y para mantener espacios libres para el resto de los huéspedes.
-Apagar las luces que ya no utilicen o cuando se retiren de su habitación, armario o alguna zona común.
-Se aceptan fumadores sólo en lugares abiertos: terrazas y patios. Se multará con $250 pesos a quien se encuentre fumando en su habitación o huela la habitación a cigarro.
-No tirar colillas/bachichas de cigarro en el piso, macetas o plantas.
-Se cobrarán, de inmediato, $500 pesos por cada juego de llaves extraviado, incompleto o dañado, ya que, por seguridad de todos, deberemos cambiar las combinaciones de las cerraduras principales (implica hacer copias para todas las habitaciones). y las llaves nuevas siguen siendo propiedad de Casa canario (devolverlas al final). Esto para cuidarlas mejor!
- Los niños (independientemente la edad) que duerman en cama, se consideran como huéspedes regulares, ya que están considerados para disfrutar, al igual que los adultos, de nuestras áreas comunes, accesorios y servicios.
- En caso de planear traer a su mascota (deberán comunicárnoslo para autorización, previo a su llegada), y se cobrarán $250 pesos extras por noche más un depósito en garantía de $900 pesos por posibles daños (se devolverán al final, devolviendo el espacio en el estado como lo recibieron).
RULES:

-After 7 days of refrigerated any food, if we observe that it remains in the fridge, we will discard it for hygiene and to maintain free spaces for the rest of the guests.
-Turn off lights that no longer use or when they are removed from your room, closet or any common area.
-Smoking is accepted only in open places: terraces and patios. There is a penalty of $250 pesos if find anyone smoking inside a close room or if the room smells like cigarette.
-Do not throw cigarette/butts on the floor, pots or plants.
-We will charge, immediately, $ 500 pesos for each set of ost, incomplete or damaged keys, because, for the safety of all, we must change the combinations of the main locks (involves making copies for all rooms). and the new keys are still owned by Casa Canario (return them at the end). This to take better care of them!
-Children (regardless of age) who sleep in bed, are considered regular guests, as they are considered to enjoy, as adults, our common areas, accessories and services.
-In case you plan to bring your pet (you must inform us for authorization, prior your arrival), and will be charged $ 250 extra pesos per night plus a security deposit of $ 900 pesos for possible damages (will be returned at the end, returning the space in the state as they received it).

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
