This beautiful colonial style light filled apartment is nestled at the foot of the majestic Mount Bufa Natural Preserve. It has a fully equipped kitchenette with private front porch and Panoramic view of the mountain itself. Plenty of parking right out your front door with open access laundry facilities and your own secured private entrances. As you enter you will encounter authentic colonial styled ceilings, a private bathroom with your individual shower covered in handmade Hidalgo talavera tile, and of course hot water. It is fully furnished with beautiful new artisan hand carved furniture direct from Guadalajara and a newly installed strong fibre-optic Wi-Fi sustem with 20 MB's Internet Signal. It is ideal for couples or single’s who wish to enjoy peace,quiet and solitude whether they stay long or short term . It comes with task desk and executive chair, especially convenient for teachers, writers and students. Enjoy living in the country while being only minutes away from the heart of downtown Guanajuato.
For a small additional fee we will pick you up at the Transit Bus Station or Leon International Airport.

Interaction with Guests
We love people......And we love to interact with our guests. But we're careful not to smother our guests with too much attention. We treat each guest as individuals and look for opportunities to go out of our way to for example, spend some social time over dinner, margaritas or just causal conversation depending on availability and circumstances. So we look forward to getting to know each new guest on their own terms.
The Neighborhood
Our neighborhood is unique, It is a highly secure area with security patrols regularly monitoring the area several times daily. It is located in the exclusive area of the city where professors, doctors and professionals live. We are within a 20 min. walk or a 5 minute ride to the center of town yet far enough away that you hear no irritating loud noises orstreet traffic....... Our location is right at the foot of the Majestic Mount Bufa, a natural nature preserve, so you get the serenity and tranquility of a country setting, along with the peace and quiet so important for our vacationers to rest, relax and recuperate..
Getting around
Guanajuato is known as a walking town, with so many things to see and do along the way....Most of our guest prefer walking once they've arrived...It takes about 5-20 minutes to walk to markets, restaurants, street vendors, and night clubs, depending on where you are going. We have an excellent bus transit system that runs every 10 minutes to all parts of the city. So for 5 pesos which is about $.40 USD you can virtually go anywhere in the city. And the taxi's are every where and charge around 35-40 pesos, which is around $3.20 USD. It's very easy to get around to see all attractions you want to see....

About the Area
We are located on the Presa de la Olla side of the Panoramica. Take Calle Presa de la Olla to Callejon de San Juan de Dios turn right, go to the top, turn left onto the Panoramica, go 100 yards to a blue house on the corner and turn right up the hill, go to the very top of the hill and make a hard left turn and continue to go up til you reach a stone paved road to the right. My home which is white , orange and blue is located at the top, you can't miss it.. We are located in Colonia Universitario..You can't miss it....

Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed indoors and outdoors.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
