I'm Faust. I live in Mexico, in the Rancho "los Jaguares" in the Selva Maya, a dozen min. of Tulum, of the famous Cenotes unique in the world, and - to a score of min. of the Coba Pyramids.
At guests' disposal we have 3 cabins,
spacious, with 2 or 3 double beds, W. internal, electricity, Internet and surrounded by vegetables and fruit trees available to anyone who needs them. At disposal also a natural pool with grotto / waterfall, Zen garden and a large Labyrinth between the stones and the trees of the Forest.

I love cooking, but my friend and partner Claire, is a true expert and a human being that is worth knowing (speaks well the French, Italian, English, Spanish and Vietnamese.).

What? You are asking to tell "a little more" about how incredibly wondrous, Rancho Los Jaguars was/is...? Hey, it's Carnival Time here in New Orleans and, I am pressed for the moments... However, This was one of the most: hospitable, familia, and cool habitaciones I have ever experienced - anywhere.

Is 'glamping' in the Jungle for you...? You'd be wise to find out with, Fausto, Claire et al. at this stupendous environment. The meals are fine cuisine! Everything - really - is done with beauty and care; Claire was terrifically understanding and generous.

As I am living, I will return to Los Jaguares!

    Happy Mardi Gras!!
    E.

Our family of 4 (2 adults, and kids ages almost 6 and 9) had a great time here with Fausto and Claire. The kids loved the pool, and spent a lot of time relaxing in hammocks and playing in the water. They called the place "home" and they especially loved talking to Claire, who is so warm and nurturing. Claire and Fausto are great cooks, and we enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners here. They made special meals for the kids, like french toast, and pasta, fruit juices, mangos, making it a really easy place for us to stay. The kids were so happy to have foods that they liked. As for us adults, we enjoyed many great dishes from the menu. Claire made us a delicious Thai style fish curry and Fausto made a fantastic Gnocchi with pesto.
We all loved the jungle environment and the beautiful trees, plants and cabanas with all their artistic touches. At night we heard a lot of animal sounds. The kids liked seeing fireflies and beautiful stars in the night sky. Claire and Fausto were very helpful in supplying us with everything we needed- flashlights, towels, purified water, beds with mosquito nets etc. Claire took good care of my younger son's bumps and bites, applying natural ointments .When you visit, do come prepared with bug repellent and after bite. As in the rest of Tulum, there can be mosquitos at dawn and dusk, though we didn't get too many bites. We also met some other lovely fellow travelers here, and enjoyed chatting in the communal breakfast area with its long tables and hammocks by the pool. This location is great for making trips to Coba and Valladolid, since it is already on the road to Coba (14 kilometers outside of Tulum .It is also easy to get to Tulum from here . I recommend getting a rental car from Cancun, as we did.
All in all, Claire and Fausto's place is great for families, especially if you are looking for a comfortable- camping style experience in a beautiful natural setting. They are very welcoming hosts who do everything they can to make your experience comfortable and fun.
