My name is Milan and I would love to welcome you to my volunteering guest house!
I will offer you a place in my home and welcome you like one of the family. You are welcome to have dinner with us every night!
I have a lovely central house with excellent view of mountains. Private, lockable rooms with comfortable beds. Great knowledge of Pokhara area-things to do, spas, getting around. Home cooking is included. I am also able to organise local village trips and tailor made volunteering if you would like.
I have been hosting guests for many years and welcomed them into my home like one of the family. I have three children, two which are adults and one teenager. You can spend as much or as little time with us as you want but we will be here to look after your every need.
I can teach you how to cook Nepali food and speak Nepali. We would love for you to join us for any of our family activities.
I really love to share my home with people and make them feel welcome. I treasure each one of the connections I have made with my guests and I am still in touch with them many years later.

About the Area
Our house is located in a very convenient area close to the lakeside by bus and by the jeep and bus stations for trekking. There are also many volunteering options nearby. You also have a beautiful view of the mountains.

Ome of the best homestays I’ve ever stayed in. Milan and the family genuinely made me feel apart of the family and I’d definitely visit again if I we’re to ever come back to Pokhara.
Oh and she makes the best kombucha ever!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
