I felt very welcomed when I arrived! Not only did she greet me at the door but also took the time to explain everything in detail. Things like house rules, directions and bus info!
Every morning I provided a healthy breakfast so I was able to explore Amsterdam with plenty of energy! I felt the location was very safe (Jordaan neighborhood), the bus and metro stop was right across the street and it was walking distance to many great sites like the Anne Frank house! :) I only had two issues, the first was that the windows had no screen which provided an opportunity for flying insects to make their way in the room (mosquitos included!) and the other was that I am not a smoker nor can I handle being around cigarette smoke. However, once I voiced my concern, I was given citronella candles to burn and the smoking was limited. I thought that this gesture was very thoughtful!
Overall, I had a nice stay in Amsterdam! Thanks again!July 2016
My host Divina was very nice and helpful to meet my requests. The apartment is nice, clean and functional, well connected with the city center. At our arrival day we had difficulty to find the address because it was wrong in the website! Anyway, I think I would repeat the experience!
