I live in a quiet part of the center, close to public transport (3 min.), central station (20 min.), a supermarket (3 min.) and the Jordaan (5 min.). I have only one bedroom, so I sleep in the living room and you have the bedroom which is about 15m2, but with a balcony. I prefer students above tourists, since the city of Amsterdam wants to limit the amount of tourists. I also prefer people over 30. I will not reply if you only mention a first name and have no picture.

About the Area
My neigborhood is very pretty and quiet, so is my street. I have a superb view on three canals, wooden bridges and a lot of old warehouses, changed into apartments. Shops, cafés and restaurants are nearby. Parking is expensive and could be a problem.

Idéalement situé pour visiter Amsterdam. Environnement calme. Taco est sympa, accueillant. Merci Taco de nous avoir promené en vélo et nous avoir fait découvrir de jolis villages de campagne.

We were very well received, taco is a very friendly person, cultivated and speaks very good french, he advised us well and guided us for our visit to Amsterdam. Very nice room with small balcony and tea or hot coffee on waking .. We recommend.

I stayed one week at Taco's and had a great experience. We did many things together and had interesting conversations, and I did not feel in a hotel, but in a home. I doubtless recommend it.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
