This is a private room, with a comfortable queen bed, we are located in a very handy location which is in between the city and the airport. It takes about 10 minutes by car to get to the airport during off peak times and about 35-40 minutes to get to the city by bus or 15 minutes by car.

Hillsborough is a very beautiful area in Auckland which is near the coast, it is a very safe neighbourhood, the bus stop is a 7 minute walk , theres is also 2 beautiful beaches close by , and a reserve walkway.

I understand where you are coming from when you decide to check out 3 hours late and turn up to check in without payment. Had the room not met expectations it would have been best to inform us to rectify issues if any.

Homestay with Joel was excellent even it my stay was very short. Clean and tidy rooms, nice deck and excellent location with great sea view. Joel and his wife and was very helpful. I would recommend this homestay for others.

I really enjoyed my stay in Auckland; my hosts were both very pleasant and provided a great place for me to stay.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
