About us
We are a family of four. I am Chinese and my partner is French so we speak English with each other. We are in our middle 30s and we have a girl and a boy, aged 2 and 1. Both are very quite at night(bedtime 8-8:30pm).
I am an English teacher, but I currently work part-time for a non-profit profit organization, providing New Zealand government funded language programmes to refugees and I can help you with your English language skills.
My partner is a software engineer. We're non-racists, easygoing and very sociable, and we respect cultural and value differences. You are more than welcome to join our family activities!

About the Area
The location
The house is in central Auckland, just 10mins walk to Unitec. The area is very quiet and safe. The bus stop is 7-8 mins walk and buses go to the city center every 8-10 mins. Train station is 20-25 mins away.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Ideally you will be students or working professionals. Travellers will be considered but we really hope you will be staying for at least 3 nights with us. We are looking for tidy people who are friendly with small children.

Wonderful hosts. Made me feel right at home and as part of the family. The rate is also very affordable. The location is central making the commute very easy if you are relying on public transport. I had a five star experience.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
