We live near the sea in our spacious 4 bedroom contemporary home. My husband is an artist/ illustrator and we have two children aged 5 (boy) and 9 (girl).
Beach Haven has plenty of parks and bush walks, plus a few little surprise beaches. There are some local shops and it is around 10 mins away from two larger shopping centers (Highbury and Glenfield).
Access to the city is possible by car, bus or ferry.
The house has a trendy and modern decor with excellent facilities for a home stay guest. The guest room/ area is on the downstairs level and is very private, it can be closed off from the rest of the house for ultimate privacy (although with two kids in the house we cannot guarantee complete peace and quiet!). Ranch slider doors open onto a patio area in a bush setting full of native tree's and birds.
There is a private bathroom adjacent to the room and a kitchenette area where you can make breakfast, light meals and snacks to enjoy out on the patio. Guests are welcome to relax in the large downstairs living area although this is a shared space with the family and is also used as a studio/ workspace throughout the week.

Parks and Beaches galore. Nice quiet suburb on Aucklands North Shore.
Bus stop at the end of road (less that 5 mins). Approx 35 -45 mins to central Auckland by bus.

This was my first homestay experience and it was wonderful! Hannah and Greg were very kind and welcoming. My room was nice and clean , the bed was very comfortable. I definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Fue una gran experiencia. Es una familia cálida y acogedora, con una excelente dispicion a ayudar. El lugar es muy lindo, a unos 20 minutos del centro de Auckland pero muy bien conectado por transporte público. La habitación está muy bien equipada, amplia y confortable. Superó mis expectativas

We really enjoyed our stay in Hannah's house. Hannah, Greg and their 2 children are wonderful people who always did everything to make us feel comfortable. The house is very well decorated, clean and quiet with a nice garden. It really is as described, we found it just perfect!!! Many thanks Hannah and Greg for your help and kindness...
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
