Tank you, Jan and Peer for having us as your guests. We felt warm welcomed at our first couple of nights and our first time in NZ. Your blue room was beautyfull and cozy and the healthy breakfast especially with the different fruits was the perfect start in the day. Your tipps were helpfull and the Ausflug to the Pihabeach and the cafe with the lovely few were amazing. We enyoied our stay very much! You are great hosts.

We absolutely enjoyed our homestay with Jan & Peer in their cozy beautiful home! They helped us with everything, showed us some good spots of their hometown and were always friendly and funny.
We would highly recommend to stay with them!
Room was cozy, warm and well-decorated. Jan and Peer were great hosts who made me feel welcomed in their home. It was a pleasure to stay with them.
My homestay at Jan and Peer's home was really great. Both are very nice, friendly and helpful. I loved their "blue room" and the delicious breakfast Jan presented every morning. Talking with Jan and Peer was always a great pleasure. I enjoyed every day of staying at their cozy home and highly recommend this homestay. :-) Hope to come back one day.
My time at Jan and Peers House was incredible.
They are the most amazing, and friendliest hosts you could wish for.
I had two wonderful weeks there. Thank you very much for everything.

We highly recommend to stay at Jan and Peer's house. They were so nice, welcoming and warmful! We were like at home and our daughter didn't want to leave. The best ever experience!
We enjoyed very much they both have been so helpful and welcoming that we felt we were part of the familythank you very much hope to see you again sometime
Our homestay with Jan and Peer was amazing. Jan and Peer are lovely hosts willing to open up and share their stories. They welcomed us warmheartedly, so we felt like home from the first moment. They gave us a lot of great advice and travel tips. Jan is an incredible cook and the breakfast was always a delight. Moreover, we were invited to join Peer’s birthday dinner with the entire family. It was a lovely evening and we really enjoyed the great company and food.
The room is bright and comfy with a Scandinavian touch. Very quite at night and very clean. It is fully furnished including a super comfortable queensize bed. The house has a lot of charm. It felt cozy and welcoming the moment we went in. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything is super tidy and clean.
Lynnfield is a little bit outside of the city. For us it was perfect, since we like the tranquility. By bus it takes around 30-40 minutes to the city. We took a few hikes in the nearby reserves with great ocean views. We went to the beach at low tide, so we had a wonderful hike around Manukau Domain and Wattle Bay coast.
We loved staying with Jan and Peer and will definitely come back if we get the chance. Thank you especially for giving us the Manuka honey as a present (it still gives us joyful moments every morning during camper breakfast :-) )
Thank you for having us and hope to see you soon.
The homestay at Jan's house has just been wonderfull. She is a lovely person that made us feel at home from the very beginning. We had long and interesting conversations as she herself is a travelling expert and likes to get to know different cultures. She gave us very helpful advices to make up or modify our travelling plans. We have been cooking and dining together. For breakfast she always presented us fresh fruits as well as lots of other good things. When we prepared our own meal we were allowed to use her kitchen as it was our own.
The room was a beautiful bedroom with a doublebed and a nice view in the yard. We had our own bathroom and WC that we only had to share with another host at the time we were there. Outside there was a big pool that we enjoyed during the hot days.
Her house is in a quiet part of Auckland with a bus station right around the corner that takes you to Auckland Queensstreet in about 45 minutes. By car it took us less than 30 minutes. A grocery shop as well as some restaurants are just a 5 minutes walk away. In a 20 minutes walk you can reach a beautiful park along the coast.
Altogether we were absolutely happy about our stay at Jan's house. Although we had wonderful plans for our further journey we had a hard time leaving this place. We extremely recommend this homestay if you're looking for someone to stay with that offers you more than just a place to stay overnight.
