The self-contained flatette is an attractive, fully furnished, clean and cosy environment to come home to. Part of a large 1930's bungalow, it has it's own private entrance through French doors from the large low-level deck. Inside there's a cosy lounge and kitchen, a double bedroom, and a bathroom/laundry. The unit has everything you'll need for a peaceful stay. There's a good parking space on the driveway.
The neighbourhood is pretty, and quiet at night. There are a number of facilities locally (beach, pool, parks, squash, tennis, zoo, transport museum, movies, mall, cafes and restaurants). We are within walking distance of AIT and UNITEC, tertiary education institutions.
We are a minute from buses, 5 minutes from the trains, and only a few stops to CBD.
Additional Info
We have off street parking.

About the Area
My home is 15 mins' drive from the airport and to the CBD. It's five minutes' walk to the train station and 1 minute's walk to frequent buses. The local shopping centre is a 10 minute walk through a lovely park. We are surrounded by parks and other walking / cycling places and there's lots to do locally (zoo, museum of technology, movies, restaurants, beach, extinct volcano). The suburb is established and peaceful.

Thank you Christine for welcoming us. Nice place to stay, close to everything you might need and to the trains or buses to the city. Christine is a good adviser for her customers.

It was a cosy place in a quiet zone, and Christine was always ready to hand out good advice, abd I felt really comfortable during my stay with her.

really liked how using Homestay is so casual and informal. Our host - Christine was awesome. Very friendly, welcoming, and trusting. Would use again if needed.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
