Our family lives in an urban area in Auckland about 20 mins from city centre. We are a same gender couple with 4 children, 2 of who have grown up and moved out, 2 of them are in college and living at home. We are kept busy with our dogs and the kids. This would be a good environment for a young independant person who likes to come and go without having their hand held. We encourage and support a healthy active lifestyle.
Our home is a double storey with good sized bed rooms and big cupboards. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. Our house is one of 4 houses at the end of a cul de sac. We are on a bus route and 2 mins walk from a reasonable shopping centre.

About the Area
We are on a bus route and quite central to most amenities. We have a large shopping centre just 2 mins walk down he road. There are some reasonably sized sports fields in the area and good schools.

House Rules
As mentioned we support a healthy and active lifestyle, so we would prefer no drinking or smoking on our property. We also don't have a kitchen fairy to clean up messes, so our theory is, you mess it up, you clean it up.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
