Sylvia was lovely and welcoming and extremely efficient. I knew my daughter would be safe and happy in her home
Sylvia is a fantastic host and her home is beautiful. I cannot thank Sylvia enough for welcoming me and looking after me so well.
Thank you and if I'm ever back in town I will definitely stay with Sylvia
Nice lady with a lovely heart
We (me and my two sons) have stayed with Sylvia in August 2018. The sons are overseas students at ELA English School. My aim was to give my sons chance to practice English language at homestay. Location: not far from the city center, bus stop 5-6 mints walk from home. Sylvia is very nice lady, helpful and positively response to any requests or demands from me or my sons. She is very polite, honest and generous. In addition, she spends enough time to have conversation with guests and correct wrong English if happened from students and go out during weekend. So I highly recommend this homestay.
Sylvia made me feel very welcome as soon as I arrived at her house which made my stay comfortable and relaxed . The room she provided me was excellent and just right for my short stay. I have no hesitation in recommending her to other travelers.
Every thing was very great she is very kind
Sylvia's home was lovely. I am very happy that I spent my first two weeks with her and her cute dogs. She was very-very helpful, she showed me everything what I might need - inside her home and in town too. My first days were very hard (jetlag, work, disease) but for my luck she was there and took care of me. I felt myself like home. I miss all of them so much. I can defininitely recommend her place to everybody.
Cheerful and considerate host. She enjoys talking, I improved my English with her.
Voyageur ou travailleur, Sylvia sera soucieuse de vous faire passer le meilleur séjour possible !
Sylvia is a gem. Being new to NZ a source of information that really assisted me not only with personally but also get a better understanding of NZ customs and general practices (recycling). I am not the biggest conversationist but enjoyed talking with Sylvia, she is a wealth of information. I was not happy leaving Sylvia's home, you feel so welcome and blessed staying with her. It was only 2 weeks but she impacted more greatly in my life than some people I have known my whole life. Will recommend Sylvia as a homestay for anyone visiting Auckland.
