We live in the countryside in the beautiful Western Bay of Plenty, with stunning 180 degree views across the sea and over to the Kaimai ranges. My husband is an architect and I'm an artist, working from home, so I am here all day to look after guests.
The Little Cottage available to you is a standalone cottage with bedroom, bathroom and verandah - and we live in a separate building next door. The cottage is very private, and you can watch the sun rise over the sea while still in bed!
We are just off State Highway 2, 20 minutes north of Tauranga and under 15 minutes from Katikati. Ours is the perfect place to rest for a night or two on your travels, or make the most of all the Western Bay of Plenty has to offer.
The property is new and so far we have planted over 200 trees and shrubs, a courtyard garden with fountain, and we're currently building the vegetable garden. We love the outdoors, growing our own food, and meeting new people. We have both travelled extensively and I lived in Latin America for 2 years, though it was over 20 years ago and my Spanish is very rusty.
I volunteer with a Kaimai forest restoration group and sing in the local choir. And best of all, we have an amazing little Cairn terrier called Aila who loves visitors, particularly if they throw tennis balls!

What a lovely experience staying at Anne's cottage! The decor is very chic, and the view was beautiful. Anne and Geoffrey are lovely people and were very helpful. The cottage is beautifully presented and there was a lovely fresh breakfast in the morning. I just stayed a night on my own but it would be perfect get away for a couple over a long weekend. I liked that even through the main house was close by I felt like I had my own space. I would absolutely stay at the cottage again and would recommend to all!
