Lochview is situated only 5 minutes walk from Lake Taupo and 5 minutes away from the Jack Nicholas golf course. Cycling, rock climbing, swimming, trout fishing and walking tracks are here for everyone to enjoy.
Taupo is a 20 minute drive from Kinloch.

Warm and very welcoming and comfortable accommodation. Barbara was an excellent and very helpful hostess, knowledgeable of the Taupo environs. Kinloch is a beautiful and very peaceful village only 20 minutes drive from Taupo central, great to go back to after a busy day. We would thoroughly recommend this wonderful homestay.

Barbara was a fantastic host, very welcoming, enjoyed our chats. Lovely house, very comfortable, had everything I needed, would definitely stay again. Kinloch is a beautiful area to stay, an easy 20 minute drive to Taupo.

We had such a good time with Barbara. She is an agreeable and helpful host. The meals with her garden products are awesome. We would have stayed longer if our journey allowed it.

What an absolute delight to stay with Barbara and her beautiful and comfortable property with stunning views over the lake. We really enjoyed our conversations with Barbara who made us feel really welcome and made a delicious breakfast each morning. Kinloch is a pretty quiet town on the edge of Lake Taupo, about 20 mins drive to restaurants and amenities in Taupo town. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area.

We stayed 2 delightful nights and days in Barbara's beautiful Kinloch house with Lake Taupo view, in the spacious and comfortable homestay. We immediately felt comfortably at home by Barbara's personal and high quality hospitality. The private room is very clean, spacious and has high quality bed sheets and bath towels, bathroom is well equipped. We enjoyed our conversations with Barbara very much, we would definitely stay here again on a next visit. Very recommended homestay.

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
