My husband and I live in a three bedroom house in Mangere Auckland. This is New Zealands biggest city and we think it is ideal. The weather is generally user friendly all year round,of course winter is colder but it doesn't snow here ,there are good snow fields and mountains in the south island. Auckland is called the City of Sails so there are lots of water sports and safe harbours, a good variety of fresh sea food .We are a young country by world standards and are proud of our sports people who do well on the worlds stage. We are a multicultural city but english is the main language. We both have cars and Jeff has a motorbike.

We both speak english, Maryanne speaks Tongan as well. Off street parking is available or @ the back of the house.

About the Area
Villa Maria (an international company ) which is less than ten minute from our house, they make some of the best wines, not only that but they cater for weddings etc they also have restaurant and bar and occassional outdoor concerts.
Ambury Park where you take a walk around the the park and admire the farm animals.
Mangere Mountain where you can go for a walk right around the Mountain plus a very easy path to the top . Of historic interest.
In Mangere they have a market day every Saturday regardless of the weather and its packed by 7am. Mangere Bridge also has a market day.
Otautau stone field is a significant cultural area. A coastal walkway runs from Ambury Park to Otautau, an easy walk beside the sea.
At the Mangere town centre there's a hot pool and gymnasium.

It is off walmsley rd we are 10 minute away from the airport . Motorway access is two minutes southbound or 3 minutes for northbound to SH20 .Buses are a few minutes walk. Nearest train is Onehunga 10 minutes by car. Mangere shopping Centre is about 6 minutes by car. We are in a culdesac , no thru traffic.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
