Our Family lives in a six bedroom house, in the Marlborough wine and sounds area, our home consists of My husband and myself, Mother, and two dogs and a parrot who has his own cage. We are five minutes walk from the Waikawa Marina, 10 minutes walk from Waikawa Bay. 15mins walk to centre of Picton. We have a large kitchen and dining room two shared living areas. We have a large garden with an abundance of fruits and veges in the spring and summer.BBQ area. we have a spare bike.Golf clubs, Fishing Rods.which our quests are welcome to use during there stay. We live on a quiet road. We have an amazing amount of beautiful birds which we hear every morning.
Our house is only 14 years old have a separate bathroom and toilet for our quests. I adore cooking and baking and pickling and making jams and I consider myself to be very creative in my cooking skills. We are very hospitiable hostsand love to laugh and enjoy life in general.

About the Area
Our house is located in a suburb called Waikawa. We are 5mins walk away from the Famous Waikawa Marina, which has a bar and a restaurant looking over the marina. On a Tuesday night they have sailing and quite often look for people to help. 10 minutes walk away from Waikawa Bay where you can fish or swim or just sunbathe or just watch the boats and people. We are 5 mins away by car from picton town centre where there are lots of local café and restaurants and entertainment and supermarket. Lots of gift shops and crafts. We are on the gateway to the Marlborough sounds which have mailboat rides the Famous Queen Charlotte tract. Kayaking Mailboat trips. fishing Charters, Swimming with the dolpins and Diving.Lots of tramping. We are also the port from Picton to Wellington. Marlborough is the greatest wine region we are spoiled for choices, there are wine tours daily. Any of which we can book for you. Or even if you wanted a picnic lunch we could organise that as well.

Do not invite strangers into our home, if you would like to invite a friend please ask in advance so we can agree.
Do not adjust heatpump settings as we have them set already.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
