Although the room itself is a sleep-out guests are more than welcome to make use of all our normal household facilities. They are also more than welcome to spent time inside with us if they wish.

Our house is a stand alone with lovely gardens. We are on a main road, but down a drive, so it's quieter. Open plan living, dining etc opening out to a lovely conservatory. Barbecue in back yard.
We are located close to transport, shops, and restaurants.
Approximately a 15min drive to beach.
Additional Info
We are an English speaking couple. There is parking. Feel free to use the barbecue and outdoor furniture. Enjoy the garden.

About the Area
We are located within easy walking distance to buses and train. Very easy to get into Wellington either by train or bus. Restaurants, shops etc near by. There is a beautiful park across the road which is lovely for walks, also the river walking trail and end of park.

We are a non smoking family. If you wish to smoke you can do so outside. Please keep noise to a minimum after midnight. Please do not invite anyone else over unless agreed in advance.
Please feel free to use kitchen etc during the day.
Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home!
And please keep our home secure, lock up when leaving if we are not at home.

Judy and Ray are very nice, warm and engaging people. They made me feel very welcome in their home and gave me good advice on travelling into and out of Wellington. The room was clean and comfortable. The only drawback is that the room is detached from the house and more particularly, the bathroom. Other than that everything was perfect!

The homestay at Judy and Ray place was really nice. The room provided was really nice. It was really quiet too and away from road noise. I was really happy staying with them. They gave me advice on where to go in Wellington. I enjoyed having a chat with them and they treated me like a member of their family. Also the place is easy access to Wellington City even by public transport. I highly recommend people that are visiting Wellington to stay with Judy and Ray.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
