About the Area
We are located 20 km from Mosjøen, in a peaceful place called Fustvatnet. This is a place where the sunset sets on a beatiful lake surrounded by mountains, and where hiking and bikingpossibilities are right outside your doorstep. If you like a view, there is numerous options, and if you like to be around the lake as the sky reflects in the water, its a short walk from the house. For the more spectacular experience, we recommend the waterfall with the view over large parts of this beatiful countryside just a short hike away.
There are boats and canoes available, and fishing is a possibility. You can go cross skiing from the house and see wildlife from the window. And if you just would like to relax, this is a good place to rest with little traffic and calm surroundings.

I have just stayed with Magnar and his lovely family and have been treated as though I had always been their friend. The house is a warm and friendly home set in the most peaceful and picturesque surroundings. You get treated to homemade bread and homemade jam, in addition to every variety of everything for breakfast, so it is a real treat. I spent my last night in the tree house, a great adventure, talk about "on a clear day you can see forever" . As a Homestay experience where you can exchange cultures around the breakfast table, it has my recommendation.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
