About the Homestay
Our house is in a cul-de-sac. The main street is quiet and close to many services.
The house is in a very central area, close to public transport stations and accessible if you want to know other parts of Lima. We are in a hotel area so there are cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and entertainment just block away. We are 10 minutes ’walk from the Malecon de Miraflores which is an area where you do outdoor sports and you can enjoy the view of the sea by walking 6 km. Miraflores has archaeological sites, museums and cultural places to visit. The house is 300 meters away to "The Huaca Pucllana".
The house has 3 floors and in it, 5 adults live. I am an economist and administrator; my wife is a teacher and my youngest daughter is a biologist and her husband is a doctor. My eldest daughter is a lawyer and I have a 7-years-old granddaughter. We all have our own occupations.
We have three grown-up dogs, very meek. One is Chihuahua, a Bichon Frisé and a mixed-up.
There is a library in the house providing reading facilities, cable TV and internet access. It has desks, a sofa, a large worktable with office chairs and a coffee station.
We run, for more than 10 years, a company of teaching services and tutoring, which is aimed at Peruvian or foreign students who want to improve their learning to achieve new academic objectives.
Two years ago, we had an opportunity to host Harvard University students who chose Peru to do their internships. They were very gentle and quickly found a lot of confidence and even shared a time to stroll through the Historic Center of Lima, with the family of one of them.
This opportunity prepared us to offer from this year and in two rooms completely renovated, a new offer of accommodation in which we would preferably like to receive international students or professionals who come to Peru to study or work temporarily and want to go for a visit around the city
As an extra we can offer our guests a total immersion Spanish classes based on a program that we have developed. Guests may consult for further information and fees.

This was a very comfortable place, very clean, and a lot of privacy. It kind of feels like an add on to their apartment, that you access through the shared stairwell. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay this is it. I was personally looking for more of an authentic shared home experience, but I have no complaints about this home. They are very nice. They provide toast and coffee every morning and have filtered water. The bathroom was very clean and warm water. Overall, they want you to have a great experience while you’re there and constantly check up with you to see if you’re doing alright. Great suggestions for things to see in the city, and I believe they offer some tour services on request. The washed my laundry for me, and an extra time before I left.
Muy bien experiencia. Claro que si recomiendo.
