We live in one of the cottages in the compound. Camlann Cottages it is halfway between Dumaguete city and the mountainous municipality of Valencia. Both accessible in 10 minutes by a tricycle or jeepney (both public modes of transportation). There are 4 spacious and naturally cool cottages charmingly furnished and fully equipped for your vacation needs. Each cottage has 2 queen sized bedrooms that sleeps 4 guests.
Each cottage has its own kitchen amenities (rice cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, cooking pans and kitchen utensils, gas hob and drinking water provided as well); spacious living room and a large LCD TV, w/c is cable ready. Cottages are all identically designed comfortably and internet access is available too. There is a patio outside perfect for grilling seafood or barbeque.
I love to walk around the neighborhood and hike to the mountains or nearby forests or do a bit of river trek or if i fancy something faster, I bike around instead. My daughter love to be taken for a swim to the rivers, beaches or swimming pools. We both enjoy camping and playing about. English and Tagalog are main languages we use at home.
Pets are welcome here as long they had been trained and will not cause a bother with other guests.
I would be so happy to help you discover and experience Negros Oriental firsthand. Light breakfast will be provided.

About the Area
The cottages location is 10 minutes away from central of Dumaguete and to the mountain region of Valencia as well. 20 minutes away from the seaside and beaches and 30 minutes away from the airport. The market, grocery stores, Robinsons' Mall, and various of restaurants, hospitals, Silliman Musuem and Bus Terminal are located in central Dumaguete. All local area are accessible by tricycles and jeepneys.

House Rules
Formal ID is required for guests over 16 years old, as IDs will be scanned upon check in or guest's/guests' arrival.
HOUSE RULES:
1.1. Upon check in, guests will be given card key for the main gate access. They will be required to deposit Php1000 for each card they want to keep during the span of their stay. They will get the refund of Php1000 upon check out, as long no damages.
For weekly stay, we require 3000 security deposit, for monthly we require 5000 SD and for long term stay we require 18K SD. All security deposits are refundable as long no damages and losses and electricity bill does not exceed more than P500 during their stay. Anything after P500 will be deducted on the SD.
1.2. For guests staying for 1 month, a deposit of Php5000 will be required this will cover for any damages if any. If there are no damages then this deposit can be refunded.
1.3. For guests staying more than a month, a 1 month advance of Php18000 will be required plus as a refundable deposit.
1.4. Monthly staying guests will avail of free internet access 50 mbps and drinking water and cottage is fully furnished with utensils and equipments.
1.5. Long term staying guests will pay their own electric bill based on the electric meter reading on how much electricity they have consumed.
They will pay their own drinking water and their own gas hob.
1.6. Smoking is only allowed at the Front Patio Area of each Cottages. Everywhere else it is prohibited. Kindly dispose cigarette butts on the ashtray provided.
2. Only a person/persons registered (ID scanned and log in) at the reception may use the accommodation facilities at Camlann Cottages.
3. All registered guest/s of the Cottages, is/are given a tour for explaining the house rules. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.
4. If you are in doubt on how to use some utilities or equipments, or need anything, please ask assistance from the reception or from any of the staff.
5. Please promptly report any malfunction or failure of any of our equipments to any of the reception staff.
6. Cottage inventory (pillows, blankets, linens, towels, utilities, equipments, etc.) are intended for you to use while staying in the Cottage Premises and are not to be taken out.
7. Please take care of the Cottage Inventory and other equipments. All intentional damages occurring during your stay shall be charged on your account. (List of costs of damages is provided with the house rules).
8. If your valuables, jewelry and documents are not kept in the provided safety deposit box. the Cottage does not assume any responsibility for their possible disappearance.
9. There is no curfew, as registered guests have access with the keys on how to get in and go out. But after 9pm, kindly tone down your voices and be mindful of other guests who retire early at night.
10. Please be mindful of the following when using utilities and equipments:
10.1. Please make sure that you do not leave the water running in the shower room, when you leave it or that the hot water switch is turned off.
10.2. Please turn off the TV when not in use, red light should not be on when it is properly turned off.
10.3. Please use the provided chopping board for chopping your food and never chop anything on the breakfast table.
10.4.Please use coaster or mats when placing hot drinks and hot food on top of the breakfast table.
10.5. Please properly dispose rubbish to their respective bins (bio-degradable or non-biodegrable).
10.6 Please turn off the lights and fans when the bedrooms or cottages are empty.
10.7. Please turn off the gas hob after use.
10.8. Please do not put aluminum and plastic inside the microwave.
11. Easily flammable and explosive substances materials, as well as objects with unpleasant odor are not allowed on Cottage premises.
12. Outside visitors, will only be allowed in the cottage of their registered guests, after they registered at the reception area. Outside guests are only allowed during visiting times of 7am until 6pm.
13. Please make sure you close the door of your Cottage when leaving. Please return the keys at the check out. In case of loss, please inform the reception staff of the incident.
14. Please make sure that you do not forget anything at the check out. Forgotten items are sent to the guests' address only at their request.
15. Please make sure that you personally settle the bill before check in.

PAYMENT METHOD for Upcoming Guest/s:
Please note that we require our guest/s to pay 50% booking total to us, in ADVANCE of the booking to hold your accommodation.
Bank details will be informed, after confirming the booking online.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
We ask our guest/s to give us at least 14 days notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.

Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
