Quinta de Recião is situated in a land where the Work of God gathers with the work of generations and generations to create one of the most beautiful and charming landscape of the World: DOURO!
7km from Lamego and a few meters away from the quiet fluvial beach of the Varosa river and its roman bridge, in Quinta de Recião, the mill and outbuildings, the caretakers house and the kitchen with fireplace and oven were recently restored.
These installations are destined to welcome people who enjoy nature, in its most genuine expression: the melody of the silence broken by the songs of the birds, the soft swash of the waterfalls and... the bucolic sound of a mill, which invites us to fall a sleep and dream with the paradise called RECIÃO.
An ideal spot to start an adventure through this land of wonders, enchantments and surprises, where nature opens the door to places of unforgettable beauty that reflect centuries of history, now a monumental patrimony.
Mill House is entirely at the disposal of the guests, so the rental doesn't include meals.

About the Area
Between Régua and Lamego, part of an Estate of vineyards and fruit trees growing on the Douro region, this country house is close of historical centers of great interest.
It is a region with huge potential for tourism, thanks to the ideal natural conditions, the absence of pollution, the beauty of the landscape and the richness of its historical and archeological patrimony, to which we add the traits of a resistant popular culture (workmanship, folklore, popular games...).

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
