Window view to Lisbon’s hills, the Basílica, the river and the bridge.
Near markets, restaurants, metro, tram and train stations.
I will be sharing the house with you.

Located in one of the oldest neighbourhoods, Príncipe Real, a relaxing area just steps away from Lisbon’s busiest and most crowded places.
10 minute-walk from Baixa-Chiado and Rato metro stations, and 15 minutes from Rossio Station (trains to Sintra) and Cais do Sodré Station (to South Bay, Belém and Cascais)
Right next to Principe Real Square, Bica Ascensor and Terreiro do Paço.
The room has double-glass windows, a fan or a heater. It also has a folding table and a chair, which you can use to work on your laptop or eat a meal in your room. When you don’t need it, you can just fold it and put it away so it won’t take space in the room.
The room is located in an apartment with 2 other bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
In Príncipe Real you’ll find the most alternative stores and the newest restaurants. Hang out at Principe Real garden, with its 20-meter wide cypress tree and its 18th century kiosks, or visit the Botanical Garden with its tall palm trees and exotic plants from all over the world.

About the Area

If we translate the name of this neighbourhood it literally means Royal Prince. With restaurants, bars, stores, and art galleries everywhere, this neighbourhood is clearly attempting a rise to the throne. Hang in the coolest bars, shop at the dopest stores or just go for a bite. It’s the neighbourhood with the most alternative and hip places, colourful fun nights and the hottest restaurants.
The Botanical Garden, right next to the Museum of Natural History and Science, also worth a visit, has a particularly impressive collection of tropical plants from Asia, the Americas, and Oceania. Stroll its paths to admire the semi-tropical and tropical flora or settle on a bench to enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by nature in the middle of a city.
If you’re into shopping, here you will find local concept stores like Entre Tanto, 21pr and Embaixada: a shopping centre and concept store occupying a well-restored Moorish-style building, Embaixada is that rare gem of a shopping mall, architecturally entertaining enough to attract visitors with little interest in shopping itself. Comb through to admire the building or peruse the lovely goods. Embaixada prides itself on showcasing Portuguese brands that haven’t yet caught on with an international following.

House Rules

- It is crucial to maintain silence during the morning and at night, both inside the apartment and in the stairs of the building.
- If you plan to party every night, drink/smoke in the room, and arrive late in the night without being considerate with the noise, this is not the right place for you – it’s an old building in a quiet residential area, with mostly older neighbours, so any behaviour that disturbs them won’t be tolerated.
- There is one set of keys per room, so please be responsible with it and coordinate your return with your friends/partner. Please do not in any case ring the bell during the night (after 10pm) asking to open the door, and especially don’t ring any neighbours. In case of emergencies only, you can call me on the phone.

Smoking Rules

Your host is a non-smoker.

Smoking is not allowed.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
