Hello, we are Magdalena, and Daniel. Like you, we love to travel as we love to receive people and share experience with our guests.
We decided to rebuild an old "Palheiro" a spot where people use to keep grass, tools, animals and also put their kids to sleep when the house did not have enough space. The spot we have for you is a little studio, independent from our house. From there you can usually go for hiking, swim in the little river near us and enjoy river beaches, bike or simple stay and relax in our garden. Hope to see you soon.

About the Area
Our house is situated in the border of Santarém distric and Castelo Branco distric. The small village is in the middle of a mountain and a little river "Ribeira da Pracana". Around us there are many beautiful river beaches where you can spend the day relaxing.
The nearest village is Proença a Nova where you find everything, Restaurants, Supermarket and Medical Assistance.
Drawing a circle around us you find Vila de Rei, Serta, Proença a Nova and Maçao. An area not very expose to massive tourism but full of charm.

House Rules
Deposit of first night value is required to be paid to the host directly in 2 weeks advance (on top of the 15% service fee paid to Homestay.com).
Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 2 weeks' notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this, the deposit paid will not be refunded.”

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
