Meu nome é Patrick. Moro com meu filho em um apartamento de 72m2 localizado no coração do animado bairro chinês de Belleville.
Proponho dois quartos:
- Quarto 1, quarto individual de 11m2 mobilado com cama individual, secretária, estante e amplo roupeiro;
- Quarto 2 (maior que o quarto 1) com cama de casal de 160 cm de largura destinada a uma ou duas pessoas.
Ambos os quartos são dedicados apenas a hóspedes do sexo feminino.
Há um banheiro para compartilhar. Roupas de cama e toalhas são fornecidas. O apartamento fica no quarto andar e é acessível por elevador. Está localizado em uma residência segura com códigos de acesso, zelador e câmeras de vigilância. O apartamento é tranquilo com o sol brilhando e a 5 minutos a pé do Parque Buttes-Chaumont, um local favorito dos corredores, inclusive eu. Fica a 10 minutos de metro do Hôtel de Ville, de Notre Dame, do Centro Pompidou e do Museu Picasso; 15 minutos do Quartier Latin, do Louvre, Montmartre e do Sacré Coeur.
Todas as facilidades (estação de metro, médicos, farmácias, supermercados, mercearias, padarias, mercados alimentares, restaurantes, bares) estão à mão, a 5 minutos a pé.
Desejamos preferencialmente receber estudantes estrangeiras ou turistas ansiosos por melhorar o seu francês e descobrir a cultura e a culinária francesa. Como linguista (ensinei línguas em França e no estrangeiro e agora sou tradutor) terei todo o prazer em ajudar os nossos hóspedes com a língua francesa. Também posso guiá-los por Paris e seus famosos museus. Minha família gosta de boa culinária. Eu preparo pratos tradicionais franceses: as refeições são opcionais com custo extra. O apartamento está equipado com uma máquina de lavar roupa e uma ligação Wi-Fi gratuita e ilimitada à Internet. Os hóspedes podem utilizar todos os eletrodomésticos da cozinha (frigorífico, forno, placa de indução, micro-ondas, liquidificador...), bem como o secador de cabelo.
Há um piano e um cravo.
Meu filho Louis é uma criança inteligente e muito amigável. Ele aprende cravo no conservatório de música de Paris e gosta de patinar no gelo nas horas vagas. Assim como eu, ele fica muito entusiasmado em receber em casa hóspedes de outros países.
Sobre comunicação: Uma vez efetuada a reserva, troca apenas por e-mail. A troca telefônica poderá ser feita no dia da chegada e durante a estadia.

Nosso apartamento está localizado no coração do animado bairro chinês de Belleville. É dentro 2mn a pé da estação de metro Belleville (linhas 2 e 11), caminhada 5min do Parque Buttes-Chaumont. É dentro de 10mn viagem de metro do centro da cidade de Paris (Hotel de Ville, Châtelet), 15mn do Quartier Latin.

Patrick was a very nice host, welcoming and friendly. He was mostly at home and we were able to ask him for advice what to see in the city or have a small chat coming home.
The appartment is quite old and needs some repairs in every room. While we used the bedroom, Patrick and his son stayed in the living room for sleeping and the other bedroom was used by another longterm guest. Being 5 persons in the appartment was quite a lot, but depending on how much time you're spending outside in the city, it doesn't matter that much. The kitchen, bathroom and toilet we're in an acceptable circumstance, but not really clean. Price wise I think it's fair. Belleville as such is an interesting district to live in and I can recommend to visit it.Host reply
Silja is a very nice young lady, but I am not sure she understands what a homestay is.
First, a homestay is not an apartment that you rent for yourself alone. You have to share the space with the other people living in the house. My flat is big enough (71 square meters) for everyone to have their own space. Here is what Italian guest Francesca wrote about my homestay: "The room is big and you've got everything you need for your stay. Patrick is a super good host. Always there to help you but also leaving all the space you need."
Secondly, in 'homestay' there's the word 'home'. Each of us has a home somewhere, and each of us knows that a home is never perfect. There's always a bulb that doesn't light properly, or a door that doesn't close well... A homestay is not a hotel. Yet, Silja seems to demand from a homestay the services of a hotel, where everything has to be perfect. For me, the most important thing is cleanliness. Contrary to what Silja insinuates, in my homestay the bathroom, the toilets and the kitchen are perfectly clean, cleaned after each use. Patrick is truly kind and my stay was awesome. He helped me navigate my way to the flat with a thorough direction via email and the location was very convenient and easy to access (3 minute walk to the Belleville metro station). I also encountered a problem with RATP regarding my Metro ride ticket and Patrick helped me sort it out. Will definitely come back the next time I visit Paris. Thank you, Patrick!

Patrick is a very friendly and hospitable man. He kindly escorted us to the bus station under his umbrella as it was raining heavily and we didn't have an umbrella. His apartment is conveniently located near metro and bus stations, as well as supermarkets, pharmacy, and other shops. The apartment itself was cozy, quiet and the toilet was clean, so making our stay very enjoyable. If we travel to Paris again, we would definitely choose to stay with Patrick. We highly recommend him as a host! Merci beaucoup cher Patrick!

Everything was great! Patrick met me on the first day, showed me the way to the house. He also marked for me the most interesting places in Paris. the location is very convenient, the house is very cozy and clean, thanks to Patrick for the hospitality.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay with Patrick and Louis for the holidays! The apartment is safe and It's in a great location for all your Paris adventures! They were extremely kind, made sure we felt at home and was always willing to help and answer any questions. I would definitely recommend staying at his home if you have the chance !!!

Patrick was very welcoming, and we had a nice stay! The location is good, there's a metro station near so it was easy to move around. We would stay there if there's an opportunity to visit Paris again.

I stayed at Patrick’s for six months and everything went as smoothly as possible! You’ll find a wonderful host and his loving and very talented son, who will welcome you with such a caring way you will feel like you’re home. Patrick was always ready to help me improve my French and with daily issues that occurred during these months of stay. I will miss waking up to the sound of music played by Patrick’s son on Sunday and our evening talks, which made my stay in Paris even better than I thought. I definitely recommend a stay at his place!
