We are a small family with two pets, a year old very cute cat who has all her up to date vaccinations and a very well behaved and friendly dog so if you do not like animals or are afraid of them please don't book this home.
I work from home from 9.30am until 4pm as a therapist so I need 100% privacy for my clients and I prefer guests to book morning English classes and explore Dublin and your surroundings during the afternoon rather than sitting around the house all day, the weekend is more relaxed. Check in from 5pm to 10pm, check out 10.30am at the latest.
Our house is located a short walk from Saint Anne's park which is one of the best parks in Dublin. The park has facilities for nearly every type of sport such as Tennis, golf, hurling, football, basketball, running and has a food market every Saturday. The 27A bus to the center of Dublin city is a minute walk from the house and on return from the city the bus is at the top of the road. Raheny village is 3 minutes away and has plenty of trendy cafe's, restaurants and bars as well as hairdressers, barbers, banks, post office, and takeaways. We are very close to Clontarf, Dollymount, Eastwall, Howth, Portmarnock and Malahide and the buses H1, H2 and H3 are the best route to take to these areas .
A small breakfast is included in the price and includes fresh coffee or a range of tea's, toast & jam or marmalade and in winter there is cereal with hot milk. Due to new restrictions at the airport it is impossible for me to do airport pick ups and drop offs. Taxis can be taken from the airport from outside the arrivals door.
We have WiFi and enjoy watching tv in the winter evenings so you are welcome to join us.

Our house is located near Raheny and Clontarf, both of these areas are a few minutes walk from my home and a short train or bus journey from Howth, Malahide, Portmarnock and the city center. The airport is a 15 minute drive from my home. Public transport is 1 minute walk away if you want to use the bus to the city center is about 12 minutes journey, if you want to use the train, we call it the DART it is a 7 minute walk from the house. The area we live in is a quiet and safe suburb with the nearest village 3 minutes walk away, the village of Raheny has banks, shops, a gym, pub, takeaways, library, restaurants and cafe's. In the opposite direction there is a cinema and a leisure plex, a huge gym, Aldi and Lidl. The coast is only a few minutes walk away. We live along the train line which is a short journey from the city center and all the colleges such as Trinity College and a very short journey to Eastpoint business park and the Three arena, Google docks and a range of English schools.

Short term bookings only. I host only holidaymakers & tourists, language learning students for short term stays & professionals attending conferences or trainings only.
This is a family home, please respect us and the house as you do your own. You are booking a room in my home on a bed & breakfast stay only. 1 shower per day per guest. If you need 2 showers per day there is an extra charge so please mention this before booking the room. You do not have my permission to use my address. The full amount of your stay is to be paid in full on the day of your arrival in cash. No smoking anywhere in the house, I have no problem with guests going out for a sociable drink but I do have reservations about those who become very drunk as this always causes problems. If a guest is booked in and arrives with covid unfortunately I cannot permit you to stay, some members of my family have auto immune illness.
All devices must be unplugged when not in use, i.e phone/laptop chargers, hair straighteners etc. Rooms need to be kept tidy each day i.e., beds made, blinds/curtains left open during the day only.
If you break anything in my home you must pay in full for a replacement and the cost for a tradesman to refit.
You are free to come home at any time, but please be quiet for us and for the neighbors, especially between 10.30 pm and 7.00 am
It is not permitted to bring other people to our home no matter what. No food in the bedroom, store food in kitchen presses /cupboards and fridge.
Communication of expected time of arrival required at least 24 hours in advance, latest check out time 10.30am unless otherwise agreed before booking.
We are here to make your stay in Dublin enjoyable so ask if you need advice with anything. By booking your place with us you are agreeing with these rules.

I don't even know where to start. Ann suggested many great places for us to visit. She always made sure we were comfortable. She was very entertaining and fun to be with. She is so warm and helpful. Just a great host. We highly recommend staying with her.

Ann is a great person, she really made our trip. She gave us very good tourist information about Dublin things to do and things to see. Every morning she made us breakfast. She picked us up from and to the airport. A real life saver thanks so much! The house was really clean. Located a small walk to the dart would go there again! Thx Ann
