Geraldine and Eric were so friendly and warm - we felt very welcome and comfortable chatting with them and they seemed eager to help in any way they could to help us find our way around, and even loaned us the vacuum to clean out the rental car. Unfortunately there was some confusion with the booking through the website and the rooms were not what we were looking for, but apparently there is some problem they have tried to resolve before. I would just confirm with them personally before booking. They are a lovely family and we wish them all the best.

We had an amazing homestay! Geraldine and Erik were so friendly and so helpful. They also have very kind children. When we arrived, our host family immediately made us feel comfortable. In the end they even proposed to take us to the airport when we went back home. We also had a beautiful and nice room. Raheny is also a beautiful, tranquile area. The city center of Dublin and the coast are close and you get there fast by train or by bus. We went by train. We really enjoyed our trip to Ireland and Geraldine and Erik's family is such a nice and friendly host family. We can't think of anything bad to say about them. They're just amazing!

We've just left the house and already miss a Geraldine's and Eric's family! I am not sure it is possible to write in a simple comment HOW MUCH they have helped us! We had a booking to stay with them for just 2 days,but stayed for 2 weeks as couldn't find the apartment. During the whole time they were more than supportive,kind and caring.
The house is just less than half an hour to the city center(by bus),there is a local shop in just two minutes away and if you need,a bigger shopping center in about 15 mins. You can be sure to get a nice breakfast with a cup of coffee/tea, as well as to wash some clothes,if you need. The rooms had all we needed:beds,wardrobes,night stands,a lot of light. If you need some information or help you can be sure you get it there.

My boyfriend and I stayed with Geraldine and her lovely family for 7 days. We arrived late in the evening from our flight and they had our room clean and ready for us. They were very welcoming and helped us get settled in Dublin. Eric, Geraldine's husband, gave us a nice tour of the surrounding area and amenities (Lidl, local market, bus & train info, etc.). Geraldine was very kind and helped my boyfriend find the information he needed to be able to work here in Dublin. We were allowed to use the kitchen with our own space for food storage, and breakfast was included in the stay.
The walk to Lidl is about 25-30 min, so be prepared for the walk back with the groceries if you want to shop there. Otherwise, the little market area next to their house has a smaller grocery store that might be slightly more expensive. The train station is about a 15 min walk away, but the bus stops are very close to get into the city.
Overall a very nice experience.
