Família franco-japonês

Kathy was a great host. Really caring and helpful. Always took us to the nearest train station by car. It was also fun to talk with her, especially hearing about her family, past and the unusual house.
She also did wash our clothes daily. Her cooking is also good - costs extra but its already worth with the great view from staying at the side of a mountain plus her company.
If we ever come to the area again we will definitly try to stay here again.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour avec Kathy ! Super accueil, nous nous sommes senti comme chez nous.
C'est un peu excentré mais tout est possible en transport, nous avons pu rejoindre Nara, Kyoto, Kobe et le centre d'Osaka sans difficulté.
Kathy est pleine de bon conseils pour les visites et une vrai encyclopédie sur la culture japonaise.
Merci pour toutes ces longues et intéressantes conversations autour d'un bon dîner !

Kathy was a warm and welcoming host. She was able to pick us up from the train station when we arrived which was a great help! We enjoyed dinners together, sharing snacks, and good conversation. It was wonderful to be able to use French, Japanese, and English all together! The house is located uphill from the train station so be sure to save some energy for getting home at the end of a day out and about.

The welcoming atmosphere of Kathy's home and beautiful view are certainly worth the stay. We are looking forward to our next visit to see Kathy (and Lucky!) this spring

Le séjour chez Kathy s’est parfaitement bien passé! Elle nous a accueilli avec un grand sourire et de la bonne humeur.
Nous nous sommes très bien senties chez elle. Le soir on pouvait discuter autour de la table du salon avec elle où elle nous a expliqué plusieurs choses sur la culture japonaise qui peuvent être difficile à comprendre pour les touristes.
Pour aller à Osaka il faut prendre le train mais ce n était pas grave du tout car le trajet n’est pas cher et le train passe assez souvent!
La chambre était confortable et en bon état( chambre tatami pour 2 personnes)
Le rapport qualité prix est impeccable!
Pour résumer nous avons passer une super semaine chez Kathy, très recommandable!

Kathy’s beautiful house on the hill is conveniently located in a central part of Japan within a day trip to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Kobe and Hiroshima.
The house offers everything you might need including spacious bathrooms and well stocked kitchen. In the morning you are greeted with a spectacular sunrise that you can enjoy on a comfortable seat sipping delicious coffee.
The house is a short walk to the park where I worked out every day. The park has 2 workout stations. It was important for me since gyms are scarce here.
Besides the house Kathy is an amazing and very hospitable host. Someone very kind and well-spirited. She made my stay as comfortable as possible providing help with driving and laundry.
I can’t thank her enough for all the extra stuff she helped me with and always with the smile.
I really loved staying here and feel privileged to find this gem.
If you are lucky book the family room. The morning views are the best.

Kathy is a very kind Woman. Always helpful when you ask her politely. She can talk about many interesting topics and may tell a lot of useful information about Japan too. The Room was very good and comfortable. The food was perfect because I love homemade meals. And cook myself Also.
And Lucky is a beautiful Husky. Who is also very kind. The husband of Kathy is Also kind. Thanks that I could stay. I will definitely try to visit again. Fair price! All the best wishes to you!
