We were at Howard’s place for 5 nights.
It’s a affordable accommodation in a very beautiful central area. You don’t get a key. Which of course makes you dependent on the host.
We didn't get the impression that it would be ok to use his kitchen. Although it says in the description that you can use the kitchen, for certain products that we then wanted to prepare, we were somehow told that it was not okay to prepare them.
The Wifi was turned of until we asked for it. And again we had to ask the host, if he could give us Wifi and he also just turned it on when we wanted to use it. Anyways, it just worked on the last day.

To put it in a nutshell: There were certain things that we would have expected as guests who had paid for a room and that were also to be found in the description but not at Howard’s place. The communication with the host was sometimes difficult for us.

For people who want to explore the city in a relaxed way and want to relax at home with a good feeling and privacy or want to cook, I would unfortunately not recommend this room, because you don't get the feeling to be welcome.
For others, who only have a central sleeping place and can cope with all the circumstances, I would recommend this room.
We got along with Howard somehow, but unfortunately, we didn't feel comfortable, so we decided to give an honest evaluation here to help others find a suitable room.
