The Apartment is the Olive green portion of this beautiful 1800's Spanish renovated building. Think about the history of this building, all the families that once lived in this cool home. The apartment is located right at the heart of the town of Maricao, also known as the Coffee Capital of Puerto Rico. It comes fully furnished, has day bed, dining table/chairs, bedroom, bathroom, separate kitchen, microwave, kitchen accessories, has enough space for storage. Street front parking. The apartment has a Spanish cottage look, it is charming and has enough space to relax and really enjoy living the Maricao life! What to do in Maricao? Enjoy the small town life, take a hike by the coffee mountains, check out the nearby Falls called Salto Curet, check out the grotto in town, swim at the pool in town, check out the cool plaza, walk around town, have a cool coffee at the local coffee shop, drive up towards the mountain to check out the stone tower. Maricao is also called the baby fish capital because of the fish hatchery, few minutes drive from apartment, on selected dates, this hatchery offers tours. Another great way on living in Maricao? It's a small town, so you can just hang out and start talking to locals, its a very friendly town! Best of all, steps away from everything, restaurants, groceries, bakeries, bars, clinic, hospital, bank, post office, plaza with free wifi.

About the Area
The apartment is located right in town. Once you reach Maricao, find the pueblo or town center. Upon entering Maricao pueblo or town center, you will pass by a small river bridge, on your right you will see Maricao Chicken restaurant, drive a little bit, around 3 houses away, on your right you will see the apartment it is right in front of Migrant Health Clinic (the clinic is on the left side) you can park anywhere in town as long as there is no yellow line on the road.

House Rules
No pets allowed. No Smoking allowed. There is no laundry service. There is no Stove service. Only Microwave is provided. No aircon just ceiling fans and stand fan. You can actually open the doors and windows, usually it gets windy in town. If leaving for the day, please make sure that you lock the doors, there is a door in the kitchen and the main door plus gate. For the kitchen, you have to lock it and add the wood bar for more security. The door can be lock, and there are two locks on the outside gate. Please turn off the lights when not in use. You can move the Tv to get the air signal, if you need an internet, simply go to the plaza, steps from the apartment there is a Free public wifi. Please unplug the shower water heater when not in use. And please don't flush any paper/plastic wrappers on the toilet, there is a trash can provided for these things. If the trash can provided is not enough, you can throw the garbage on the trash bin in front of the apartment. The apartment can only accommodate two people. You can have day guests but please only two people for overnight stay. No smoking on the small outside garden area for safety. The faucet on the bathroom and the kitchen is not connected to a water heater, only the shower has a water heater, but you need to plug it in, its very easy, the connection is right on the ceiling, when not in use, simply unplug it.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
