My experience with Margaret was so much better than I could have ever imagined.
It was my first home when I arrived in Australia without speaking any English, and she was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help — even with the simplest things.
An amazing family that made me feel at home every single moment.

I'm from Brazil and I stayed at the Happy House for amost 4 months. Lynette and Graham are the best! The place is very well located, in a peaceful neighborhood and close to the heart of surfers paradise. We had an excellent time.

Wish we could give 100 stars. Valerie and Ted are wonderful people and they made us feel so welcome and helped us get settled in Australia. They have a beautiful modern home and it is spotlessly clean with very comfy beds. Robina has a great shopping centre and lots of other amenities and it is just a short drive from the beautiful beaches. We were sad to go and can’t recommend enough! Look forward to seeing you both again soon.

Kim Maree is the perfect host, very friendly and helpful. The house is nice and we enjoyed the swimming pools in the area. The bedroom was confortable and clean. Thanks a lot Kim Maree! We loved our time at your place!

Koala room is very cozy and got everything you need. I honestly haven't slept this good in ages, truly happy to be here and the peace and calm is just what I needed :)

Location is perfect for me, calm area and about 20 min walking distance to surfers paradise depending on how slow you walk. Also exists bus connection but recommend walking - there's a small shopping center on the way, some parks/nature and beautiful view from the bridge etc, just a very nice road to town

Surrounded by huge house, beautiful river and trees, it’s really quiet place located great surfers paradise! You can feel the slow life there. The oranges from tree are the best I ever had! Lynnette, Graham, mom and a little sunny boy, they’re always welcoming warmly and kind. They helped me whenever I needed. I’m gonna visit them while I’m in GC. Honestly the room I stayed was really small but the price was cheapest at homestay.com even though located in center of GC. Thank you for these days!

My recent stay at Lynette home was nothing short of delightful. I was warmly greeted by Lynette and her husband Graham. The location was perfect for exploring Gold Coast. Lynette and Graham provided me with help, valuable tips, and recommendations. I really enjoyed my vacation while staying there and I highly recommend Lynette's place for its comfort, hospitality, and memorable experiences. If I'm going to visit Gold Coast again with my mom or friends, surly I will stay again with Lynette as it feels like home. I was sad to leave , but until we meet again next time

Adrienne just helped me to feel at home ! As it was my first time to Australia, as a solo traveler, she warmly welcomed to her place and made myself feel comfortable. The house is well located, in a quiet area nearby a lovely lake and a coffee place. You are 15 mins walk from James Street, where are the main shops and restaurants of Burleigh. I would recommend this place for any solo travelers :-)

We stayed with Victor for 2 and a half weeks over Christmas and New year's and had an awesome time! As two young girls in our twenties, we felt very safe and were so well looked after. Victor went above and beyond his responsibilities as a host, thank you so much for everything!

I loved the time I spent at Happy House! Lynette and Grahan are a super affectionate, attentive and friendly couple. The daily is light, the house is really cozy and I felt at home!

The stay with Chantal was great, she was very helpful and always available for a quick chat. The location is amazing, you're very close to a bus stop from where you can get anywhere. You're in Burleigh Beach in 20 minutes by bus. The house is beautiful, and even has a community pool, which was great for cooling off in the hot temperatures. Varsity Lakes is super nice, lots of beautiful houses and it's surrounded by Lake Orr which is great for walking!
I can absolutely recommend Chantal, she is a great host. You have everything you need at her place and if you don't, you can always ask her!

Beautiful people. Great spot. After you prepare your meal in the kitchen eat breakfast lunch or dinner outside by the water. Message shower, free internet and tv. Maybe a little too expensive for a single but next time I'll barter with Lynette and offer a couple of nights of live performances and invite all other guests - party night LOL. Love you Lynette and Kate. Thank you for letting be myself.

Very friendly host who is very accommodating. The place is good with all basic amenities included.
The location is a bit isolated, and would recommend getting your own transport if you are here.

Great man. Has travelled a lot and has some great tales.
Very helpful and caring and a great sense of humour. Doesn't ask too many questions and lets you do your thing.

We stayed with Chantal for a couple of months and she is a very lovely person and we felt very at home with her. We’re grateful for the time that we spent with her as we were really struggling to find somewhere to stay and she sorted us right out. We’ll miss you!

The place is great! It's clean, the furniture is in good state, the bed is comfortable, the view is nice! Sometimes it was quite loud with the guests in the other room, as they were loud throughout the night (noise in the shared kitchen, shared bathroom and they kept talking loud, while I was trying to sleep!).
There's a bus station right in front of the gated community. In my opinion, Robina is a bit far away (30-40 min to Surfer's Paradise) but perhaps for some it's fine!
Eirini was always kind and very helpful and immediately acted when I needed something! She's an amazing host! Thank you for everything, Eirini!

Gay and her family were very nice and welcoming and the room was perfect. We didn’t spend much time with them because we were working but I absolutely recommend this stay. We had everything we needed and felt very comfortable.

Victor is a great host, my partner and I really felt at home with him. The bedroom is bright, the bed comfortable, the private bathroom is spacious. The residential complex has also pools and gym. We had an amazing stay! Thank you Victor!

Before I booked with Chantal, I was desperate to find somewhere to stay and o couldn’t have found a better place! It’s like I’ve met the right people to the right time. Chantal is an absolute caring, supportive & amazing host and goes out of her own ways to make you feel at home and comfortable. I’ve extended my stay for another 5 weeks and it was the best decision!

Pleas let me tell you first.
I would like to stay next time, so it would be a problem if it became very popular.
But I want you to staying here.
The house’s food is excellent.and they are kind so I was happy.
All room is very cleaned and I can watch Netflix
But the best thing is that you let me sleep slowly in the morning.

Danni super friendly, she helped me with recommendations for restaurants, bars and places to visit. She has a fantastic apartment with a wonderful view. Danni is very friendly, super helpful. Me and my girlfriend have a new friend on the Gold Coast(Danni)!!! I will be back thousands of times in Gold Coast because of this magnificent experience and all of Danni's recommendations!!!!!!

Victor accepted everything we requested.
My high school students were staying there comfortably thanks to him. There was a big ground in front of his apartment.so my kids were able to play there every morning.we had a BBQ with Victor on Sunday.that was the most enjoyable thing. Victor is warm-hearted!

Victor is an awesome host! He is very inviting and caring. I absaloutly recommend this place!
Nice spacious room, private bathroom and location is great too. An easy walk to any shop you need. A couple hundred meters from a board walk which has great views as well

We loved visiting Victor in Gold Coast. Victor exceeded every expectation we could possibly have! We were very surprised he took the time to making us lovely breakfasts consisting of egg and bacon, omelette or toasts with avocado, and juice and coffee. He also invited to dinner, making a wonderful meal. Such a great chef! The apartment was very clean, quiet and close enough to the city with bus. Victor picked us up at the train station when we arrived, and gave us a lift back to the station when we left after three nights in his lovely home. We also got to say hello to his most loving dog the last day. We truly recommend staying at Victors, it was way better than any hotel :)

Victor was a wonderful host; a most generous and thoughtful person; easy to communicate with and very personable and interesting to talk with. His accommodation was most comfortable and a very convenient location, suitable to my personal needs.. An extra benefit of staying in Victor's home is his lovely little dog "Coco" which enhanced and made my time in Victor's home even more pleasant.
