Jane has been really friendly and helpful. The place is very convenient well located and very quiet and private. I felt like home there. The room has everything you need.

Kai was such a lovely host with a beautiful home! My partner and I were blown away by the kindness and openness we were greeted with. The stay itself was wonderful, and the location was fantastic--we walked to the shore every day, it was within walking distance to most everything we planned to do, and we never felt unsafe or scared walking back. Thanks for having us, and we're hoping all the best for you and those who stay with you in the future!

Dyanne its a wonderful human being, caring, considerate, and astonishingly adept to service her guests. I would go back again every time. She is also attentive to give space and provides a tranquil environment.

Excellent stay, very comfortable. It's clean and they provide literately everything you need. The host family is welcoming, accommodating and very responsive. The location is residential and quiet with lots of greens in the area but also it's just a step away from restaurants, a local grocery store and frequent buses that can take you downtown in just a few minutes. I enjoyed the TV a lot, it has free access to Netflix, Prime video and Disney+, and many other channels.

There were also a few quirks obviously but nothing to ruin my stay. Maybe the most notable for me was that the air was extremely dry, possibly because of the type of heating that they are using (floor heating). It's also worth noting that it is exactly at ground level so I kept all the blinds shut, for privacy, since people were walking by frequently.

Giovanna and her family are wonderful! My experience staying at their home was fantastic. They are a very friendly, polite, and fun family. They always helped me with anything I needed during my stay. It was a truly wonderful experience – I would definitely come back! Thanks

I had one of the best time in Vancouver while I was staying here, they’re kindness and support was beyond my imagination, they were so friendly with me, which I feel I am at home with my sisters, everything in this house was perfect and any time I want to stay in Vancouver definitely I will choose here again, I wish there was more hard because five star is not enough for this lovely family

Phil And Mehrshid are two lovely hosts. I felt very comfortable staying in their house. We had some interesting conversations about politics, culture, healthy food and family.

The house is located in North Vancouver in a residential safe neighborhood. Street parking is available if you come by car. There is a nice cafe "Le Petit Café" 10min by walking, otherwise not much going on there. You can reach downtown with a bus in ~45min for <4$ one way (you just tap your credit card when entering the bus at the driver door, then you can ride the bus as long as you want).

I had the deluxe room, which was great. It was clean, large and had windows with sunlight. Some rooms are in the basement, which I wouldn't have liked. For me the additional few dollars for the deluxe room were worth it.

There are quite strict rules regarding eating times and quet times at night that you need to follow. That was no problem for me since I ate out anyways and usually go to sleep early (and I was jetlagged).

Bathroom was ok, but there was no toilet paper most of the time.

All in all, I can recommend this Homestay and I'd be happy to return if I visit Vancouver again. Thank you for your hospitality, Phil And Mehrshid.

Beautiful home in lovely neighbourhood, close to buses ,shops, cafes.
Maria is a welcoming, warn host , as is her little dog, Lilah!.
Bedroom and ensuite bathroom are well equipped and very comfortable.
I totally enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Mohammed and his family were warm and courteous. I enjoyed a scrumptious family dinner and got to know everyone. The room was comfortable and I had everything I needed. Although short, I enjoyed my stay and will return soon. Thank you for hosting me.

I had a great short stay with Shelley and Enzo the American Doberman. He's a real funny dog, who's protective, yet gentle communication goes far. The house is part of a multiplex setup, easy to find and in the heart of the action of The Drive, while being a stone's throw from Commercial-Broadway Station and bus networks. I found the area safe and easy to navigate on foot. Shelley's place is small but has all you need for a comfy stay. Thanks for your warm hospitality, Shelley!

Had a great time at Viveans place. The house is clean, comfy and quiet. Vivean was a lovely host, she took care of all my needs and questions and did everything to make me feel comfortable from the moment I moved in. Would always be happy to stay here again and I can only recommend this place to everyone!

Overall an enjoyable and quality homestay experience. Host was welcoming, accommodating, and has created a very positive and enjoyable environment for guests from all over the world. My housemates were friendly and the rooms and common space was perfect in providing both privacy and quiet for some alone time, and a place to interact for those wanting to chat and hang out at the table.

The neighborhood is beautiful, amazing views, safe and clean with a huge park and community centre with a pool, gym, outdoor tennis track, picnic area etc. motivates you to exercise in the fresh air!

The host is very generous with her space and supplies — Laundry detergent, cleaners, bathroom tissue, and meals, were ALL INCLUDED (a higher rent option I do not regret). I was SO happy to find a place that provided these as, I began my stay in Canada in a simple room share (no meals, shared paid laundry). I lived off rice and ground beef and still spent min $600++ a month at the grocery store, plus laundry costs, etc. It’s SO expensive to live and pay for these items in Canada!

Best meals I’ve ever had at a homestay. Well balanced, healthy, quality ingredients and very tasty. Rebecca is a great cook and baker — sweets/dessert almost every day.

House is new, modern, very clean, well equipped with everything you need. I was welcomed with fresh linens, a welcome gift — nice touch! A “no rules” system was in place — everyone was to use their best discretion and not disrupt others or abuse privileges and lose them. No one wants to ruin it for the others, so it works! Made for a more relaxing environment compared to most places that put restrictions on everything.

This homestay exceeded my expectations. I catch the bus 2 blocks down street that gets me downtown in 35 mins. Highly recommend. If you’re looking for a clean, quality and fun lifestyle and experience in Canada, this is where you want to stay.

I had an excellent stay with Brian and Andrew, they are friendly and kind, and helped me with everything I needed.
The house had all the amenities I needed for a good stay.
The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and close to the skytrain (Expo and Millennium Line), it's also close to the mall and other stores.
It was a very pleasant stay.

I booked a room at Lisa's for a 3-month stay in Vancouver. I felt at home from the first day. Lisa is welcoming and endearing, more than just a host she is a friend. I can only recommend it to you! The accommodation is very functional with a large bright bedroom and a private bathroom which is a real luxury! Less than 10 minutes walk from a shopping center with everything you may need. Restaurants less than 5 minutes on foot. Bus downstairs to join the Sky train.

Thank you Quinn for hosting me during this stay. She is a nice host who has her heart on her hand and who likes to help you a lot. I arrived without knowing anything she helped me a lot to discover Vancouver I recommend.

I had a wonderful time staying with Loretta. She is very kind and heartwarming. She’s always there if the guest needs something or has questions. The house is located near two bus stops, making transit easy and convenient. You can find almost everything you need in the household, thanks to Loretta’s hospitality. Overall I would recommend this homestay to guests having a short or long stay.

I really enjoyed my homestay experience with Neelam's family. I felt comfortable, it was great to be able to practice my English by talking to the whole family. I had support on questions I was interested in and the food was very good. The connection is good and close to downtown.

Joanna and her whole family welcomed me so warmly and made me feel comfortable from the moment I joined them, they truly made me feel like a part of the family and I would recommend them to anyone who wants somewhere they can feel at home. Staying here looks like : cosy movie nights on Fridays, beautiful home cooked meals, quality time together, a full embrace from their wonderful community of friends, and a very handsome cat, Mr Mark. (and so much more). Particularly as a solo female traveller I felt very safe and cared for here. Furthermore, very accommodating and positive environment for neurodiverse and lgbt folk! If you’re lucky enough to stay here, you’ll miss it very much when you leave!

The bedrooms were spacious and functional, making the stay very comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely, with a nearby park and grocery stores. The bus provides quick and easy access to the city center, which is very convenient. I highly recommend this place!
