Sandra's quiet and comfortable home is in a nice part of Dublin, a short bus journey from the city. She is a very generous, friendly, reasonable and easy going host who really invites people to feel at home. The house has a lot of wise and uplifting messages/poems etc on the walls which I liked. St Anne's park, which is great, is a short walk/bus journey away. Thank you for the great hospitality, Sandra.

I stayed with Christina and Daryl from February 7th to June 17th, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and at home. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a long-term stay.
Both hosts were always kind, respectful, and available whenever I had a question or needed help. The house is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood with easy access to public transport, which made commuting to the city centre very convenient.
I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend it to any student or visitor looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to stay in Dublin.

Orla
June 2025
I spent 4 months with Orla and they were some of the best months of my life! The moment I met Orla for the first time I knew that she was a wonderful person and the best choice I could have made for my semester abroad. Orla manages to strike just the right balance between a family feeling and independent togetherness where everyone does their own thing. On top of that, Orla‘s house is beautiful and the room is just so comfortable! The location is perfect because it is close to both the train station and the bus stop and the surrounding area is quiet and green. Orla was always there to listen and help me and always made me feel welcome. We spent wonderful and funny evenings together, had great conversations and I simply felt at home! I have missed this great home every day since I left Ireland and I would highly recommend anyone to stay with Orla and have the same great experience! It was my time with Orla that made my semester abroad a success and I will never forget my second home that I found with her in Dublin!

During my internship, I’ve been lucky enough to stay in this house and I couldn’t be more grateful. Lorraine has been warm, kind, and always willing to help with anything I needed. From the very first day, I felt at home, thanks to her friendly approach and the cozy atmosphere of the place. The house is spotlessly clean, well cared for, and beautifully decorated, which makes it even more special. And I can’t forget to mention Red, her dog, who is absolutely lovely, calm and a wonderful companion during my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this home. It’s been a truly beautiful experience in every way.

I would like to thank Lauren and Sean for taking me in during this month-long stay. They are very welcoming, attentive and give very good advice. I had access to all the furniture I needed. The house is very well located with direct access to the centre thanks to the bus, and a great park to go running in.
Many thanks again.

Staying at Sandra’s place was amazing ! She’s such a kind and warm host. You will be free to enjoy your privacy and your personal space, but if you got any questions she’ll be there to answer them and to help you. She is always making sure that there is food and drinks in the pantry and the fridge.
During my internship in Dublin I also stayed in a home stay in Ballyfermot and another one in Bray but it wasn’t great. If you intend to go to Dublin I definitely recommend you to stay at Sandra’s place you won’t regret it.
Thank you again for having me Sandra

I had a great experience staying here both times. The host was very kind and welcoming, which made me feel at home right away. The room was spacious and clean. I also appreciated being able to use the kitchen freely. The house located in a quiet area, but it's easy to get to the city centre by bus(abt 25min).
방 넓고 옷걸이 & 멀티탭 있었음. 3분거리에 버스정류장 있고 시티가는 버스 많고 자주 오는 편이라 시티 왔다갔다하기 편함.

My friend and I stayed with John and Sharon in Dublin for four months, and we look back on our time there with a big smile and a bit of nostalgia. John and Sharon are absolute gems: incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. They strike the perfect balance between giving you the privacy you need and being open to a friendly chat or even a walk together.
The accommodation itself is fantastic. Privacy is never an issue, and everything is thoughtfully arranged. The shared kitchen is truly a highlight, beautifully designed, spacious, and with plenty of storage for your own groceries and other stuff. The room and bathroom also offer more than enough storage space.
There’s a lot of natural light in the rooms thanks to the skylights, which makes the space feel bright and cozy. The location of the house is ideal, just a short walk from a bus stop that takes you straight into the city center, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place or better hosts. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed staying in Liz's house. It was much better than I thought and a great experience. She treated me like family, making me feel 100% comfortable in a new country with a challenging language barrier. She also always talked to me in a way I could understand and learn as well. She is a helpful person.
The room is amazing and cozy. The location is convenient near public transport, so you can get to the city centre easily, and the area is quiet and peaceful.
Liz is the best, Lovely, Amazing Host ever. Thanks a million!

Kris is a truly wonderful woman. Warm, kind, and incredibly helpful. She made settling in so easy, especially since it was my first time away from my family. I quickly bonded with her granddaughters, who are absolutely lovely, I adore them! Her daughter also has an adorable husky and a sweet, cuddly cat, which made the experience even more special. My time at Kris’s home is something I’ll never forget. Staying with her is an experience you won’t regret, she’s genuinely one of the kindest people you’ll meet.

I am very grateful I got to stay with Aisling and Ben. They are wonderful hosts and two of the kindest and most generous people I know. They are very respectful of your space which I especially appreciated. I also enjoyed the meals and movie nights we enjoyed together! And I miss Samson already!
The room is quite big and cozy and the bed is very comfortable thanks to the new mattress! You’ll be able to get to the city centre easily with the Luas or the bus. I was especially happy to have a park nearby where I regularly took walks. It’s perfect for you if you want to stay somewhere quiet and peaceful, not in the middle of the busy city but close enough to get there every day if necessary.

It was a lovely stay with Janet and her family! I was only there a brief time, but they are very nice, welcoming, down-to-earth people. The neighbourhood was easy to navigate by foot, lots of restaurant choices. I was even lucky enough to happen upon a local pub with fantastic live Irish ballads. I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

I spent nine months at Sharon & Gary’s place and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. The house was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located, but it was their warmth, always happy to help yet never intrusive, that made it feel like home from day one. If you get the chance to stay here, take it; you’ll leave with great memories and a new family! I highly recommend this stay!
